Hotel Tybee was a delightful place to stay, clean, modern, with many amenities. Staff was friendly and Knowledgable. The pool area had a bar, was clean and inviting. We felt secure and pampered. Parking was plentiful and and near the entrances. The hotel is on the beach separated from the sand by a public parking area which allows the public access...

I've been visiting Tybee all my life, over half a century. The old, run-down Ocean Plaza is now Hotel Tybee and is the place to be! This old Grand Dame has had quite the facelift, with more to come. Walking distance to everything you want to do at Tybee, the hotel couldn't be more conveniently located. The Breakfast Club is...

Decided last minute to stay on the island instead of downtown Savannah..should have stayed in Savannah. Upon check-in there was a letter at the desk from the investors apologizing for the renovations being incomplete due to Hurricane Matthew damage. They did not get to do the updates they had originally planned because they needed to fix other things. WOW.. that...

Thank you so much for staying with us and giving us the opportunity to serve you. I'm genuinely sorry we were not able to exceed your expectations. We've only owned Hotel Tybee for two years. Since purchasing the hotel, my team and I have been working around the clock making huge improvements and re-inventing the entire hotel. As you mentioned,...

We've been coming to Tybee for well over 10 years, and have always stayed at Ocean Plaza (now Hotel Tybee). It's never disappointed us. The new management has made updates to the decor that bring it closer to the original look. Such a cool historical hotel on one of the most beautiful beaches we've been to.

Thank you for your repeated patronage and for sharing your experience on TripAdvisor. My team and I have really appreciated your support and patience while we reinvent Hotel Tybee. I have said it before, but it is worth repeating. The last 2+ years have been the hardest and most rewarding of my career. I fully recognize the areas still needing...

We stayed for one night. Two pools, which is nice. The lock on the slider was broken for the first floor. They did have a bar we used instead. The sheets were pilled, and the cot my daughter slept on was springy and very uncomfortable. The room itself was clean and it looked like they had just done some work...

It was worth staying here for at least one night, there is a lot of history. The updates they have made are well done and make a welcoming hotel. We had a "partial" view room, which actually was a very good view of the ocean. There is parking between the hotel and beach, so, yes, there is that view as...

First time to Tybee Island. Thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. We booked an ocean view room with balcony - and would do it again. Sits on beach with small parking area between it and the sand. Large recently refurbished room, micro, fridge. Office in separate building but never needed to go there. Adequate small pool with tiki bar. Bartender was great...

Thank you so much for allowing us to host your first vacation on Tybee Island. We've only owned Hotel Tybee for two years and have fallen in love with the hotel and island. I'm glad you enjoyed both, as well. Thank you for mentioning the thin/narrow parking lot that is between the hotel and beach. I always like to remind...

The rooms were clean, the bathrooms were a little dated, but we know they are trying to remodel and repair damage from the hurricane. The staff was very nice, and it was surprisingly quiet for being on the ground floor facing the parking lot!

Thank you for visiting Tybee Island over Mother's Day...it was a memorable weekend celebrating with GREAT families. It also signifies the shift away from spring break celebrations to more of our familiar faces and year-round vacationing families. We see some families almost a dozen times over the course of the year. Thank you for allowing us to host your vacation...
