Wish we could have stayed longer. We only stayed for 1 night last weekend for our 33rd wedding anniversary. 3rd floor room #308 was perfect for us snowbirds. It was a large double room equipped with a fridge and microwave. Cost was very reasonable for a holiday weekend. Check in & out were very quick and easy. Plenty of free...

Traveled down on a whim for this past weekend-not remembering it was a holiday weekend.Found a room for the night, but they were booked for Saturday and Sunday. Donna at the front desk took my information and kept her eye out for cancellations. She found a way to keep me in the same room for my entire stay. The hotel...

Thank you for letting us host your last minute escape. We certainly have a huge local/regional following that have made Hotel Tybee their second home. Team members like Ms. Donna are what keeps our fans coming back repeatedly. Ms. Donna was here when we bought the hotel two and a half years ago. She was promoted from within and now...

Yes, I understand they recently experienced a hurricane in the region but this property was rundown long before the storm hit. My biggest gripe was with the staff. They were unresponsive to needs of several of the people traveling with us. The "new" security locks were troublesome and even stopped working on several occasions requiring the maint people to come...

Thank you so much for vacationing on Tybee Island and allowing us to host your visit. I apologize on behalf of my entire team. While our guests have been amazingly patient and supportive while we reinvented the hotel, very few guests over the last two years have experienced issues or concerns with the hospitality/service we provide. I fully understand that...

I spent 4 nights here while birdwatching with a group of 40 people. The hotel has been extensively remodeled since Hurricane Matthew hit last October, and my room was nicely updated as a result. The bathroom was quite dated but clean and functional. Bed and bedding were comfy. The oceanfront view is lovely although it overlooks a public parking lot,...

We absolutely loved hosting your group. All our birders love us and trust me when I say it is a mutual feeling. Everyone in the group had a great time and that's always our goal. I'm so glad you enjoyed the improvements to our hotel. We had scheduled to complete our three year remodeling plan this off-season, but unfortunately Hurricane...

This place has a PERFECT location if you're running in any of the Critz Tybee Run Fest events. We were able to stay in our room until 10 minutes before race start. Room came equipped with blow dryer, shampoos, conditioners, mini fridge. The place was relatively clean and in convenient and an easy walk to restaurants and bars.

My husband and I stayed here on a spur of the moment trip and thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. We did not want the hustle and bustle of the city, so we ventured out to Tybee Island and found this gem. Clean rooms, hotel staff very pleasant and will stay here again in the future.

As a tour operator, I can be quite critical of hotel properties. I found Tybee Hotel to be a hotel that I would not hesitate sending my loyal groups to. Hosting your visit and referral for future motorcoach business means so much to our entire team. We absolutely LOVE motorcoach groups. With a hotel of this size, hosting two or three motorcoaches on a daily basis makes our entire operation go so much smoother. It is easier on the front desk, housekeeping and actually improves the experience for all our...
