It is not a nice place to stay by any means, but it is a place to stay if you need something. You only get one set of towels (which are extremely small- wash cloth size and slightly larger) and you need to wash them yourself if you want to reuse them- which means you need to pay additional money for laundry service. They will not give you any extra towels. I found the size of the towels an inconvenience since I had to go out and buy my own towel to shower. During my first week of staying, fights broke out more than once amongst guests staying at the hotel to the point where one guy actually punched a woman. The noise was a disturbance to all of us staying at the hotel and my boyfriend felt unsafe with the idea of me stepping outside of our room for fear of me getting hurt. I have an ESA (emotional support animal) and before I brought her to the hotel to stay with me I called to ensure I was allowed to have her with proper documentation. A man from the hotel said I was allowed and made no fuss about it. The maintence guy as well as another worker at the hotel had seen her and again made no fuss about it- one of the workers even pet her. However, I came back to hotel from work one day and had a paper on my bed threatening to evict me because I had a dog and pets are not allowed. I went to the front desk to explain everything very nicely and the lady who was working the desk was disrespectful towards me. She tried telling me my dog was not allowed even when I told her she was an ESA. It really did seem like she was trying everything to not allow my dog initially. She even told me keeping my dog in a kennel and by herself while I’m at work is bad for my dog....even if the kennel door was open my dog would have still stayed in the kennel the whole time because my dog LIKES her kennel. It’s her safety zone. She tried making me look like a bad owner when I spoil my dog and treat her like my child. As an individual with an ESA because of my anxiety disorder, I never felt so disrespected and upset. I would never stay here again.

I wanted an extended stay rather than a regular hotel so I'd have the ability to economize by cooking rather than dining out for nearly every meal. I booked a room on line and was rather surprised that they don't take a credit card to hold the reservation. I found out later that it's because you aren't guaranteed a room. If you show up you may discover there are no rooms available. Unfortunately for me, there WAS a room available. Fortunately they offer you a chance to take a look at the room first. I did, and couldn't get away fast enough. It smelled faintly of urine which was enough to send me packing but I wanted to investigate further for informational purposes. I sat on the bed and can't imagine sleeping on anything less comfortable short of something spiked or covered in broken glass. It was also quite noisy and as mentioned all I did was sit down. Amorous activity would be ill advised unless you want your neighbors to know (I could hear the TV from the room next door if that gives you any indication of wall thickness/privacy). The refrigerator and stove seemed clean enough. I checked the cupboards and drawers expecting to see what you generally find in an extended stay: Cookware, utensils, cups, glasses, plates, etc. WRONNNNNNNNNG!!!!!!!!! Not a thing. So unless you're moving in with your own stuff, you are SOL. Run. Run away. Run away very quickly. Yuck.

Since the Intown website form is not working correctly ( see the end of this message of error 403), I am adding here the review I attempted to send to management.. The Northside Intown Suites location is in desperate need of management attention. Upon arrival I noticed three abandoned vehicles (flat tires and obvious signs of been parked there for an extended time). The room floor was right down filthy (room 112) and it was still filthy when I left. I asked the front desk manager to have the floor checked and after four times a housekeeper arrived with a ragged towel wrapped around a broom to "mop the floor". The artificial wood boards are buckling, the floor smells and has a nasty black dirt layer on it. The microwave plate was non-functional (would not spin). The office manager is there maybe 1/4 of the time, with the "out of office for 20 minutes" sign been the norm. The bedsheets were changed once in 28 days and there was no refreshing of the room on a weekly basis. The draining system from the upper floor floods the first floor whenever is raining. basically all the water from the top floors ends up spilling into the first floor walkways. I am giving Intown Suites another try, this time at the Sandy Spring location since the reviews seem to fair better than the Northside Drive location. Hopefully this facility will be able to change opinion and help me forget the awful first impression., If the property is not any better, it's time to look for other accommodations. There is no excuse for the filthy conditions and the smell that developed in the room. I had to re-launder all my clothes upon departure because the foul smell of the room impregnated all my clothing, pillow and personal bed sheets. Then to top it all off, when I typed the above in the comment form of your website,

We stay at all 3 of the properties on this strip and it is comfortably set on a cul de sac that is walking distance to Monterrey Mexican, Ruby Tuesdays, Checkers, Firehouse Subs, Dunkin Donuts, Moe's and Q Tip convenience stores. We use this as a low budget choice to allow some of our boys to travel and play ball for several weeks with out blowing out the budget. Rooms are bottom level but safe and serve a purpose

Would not stay there again. Bring your own towels... Bring your own toilet paper. Didn't even want to put luggage on couch. Only rent by the week...great concept but just a dirty tired building. You get what you pay for.
