The innkeeper's greeting was quite welcoming as she gave us a tour of the amenities that the 1905 Historic Roosevelt Inn offers. There are tastefully decorated comfortable seating areas dispersed throughout the main floor for relaxing, conversing or enjoying a friendly card game. The room...More
I have traveled to Europe over 20 times and stayed at many locations but this place tops them all! Luxurious bedding, quite and excellent service. The breakfast is something to dream about. Just outstanding.

We had planned a road trip from Lake Tahoe to Couer D’Alene and needed a dog-friendly hotel. I came across this B&B online, and booked immediately when I saw that they allowed dogs, and I’m so glad I did. It was a lovely experience.
Beautiful rooms, views, good healthy food, convenient and quiet too! Was on a bicycle tour and couldn't have been any better. There are stairs, but also a little too. Very historical and the staff was always available.

My review was as of February 22 and 23 and I’m not sure when Gordon Ramsey was there and frankly don’t care. I don’t take much credence in celebrity chefs. Scrambled eggs by Julia Child, Martha Stewart and Jacques Pepin are moist and flavorful not a dry fold resembling an omelet but they they don’t have celebrity restaurants so what do they know. It was also the inn keepers attitude about it. He was appalled I didn’t like his rendition on scrambled eggs and made a comment about Gordon Ramsey and snatched it away. Then he was snooty again when he brought back scrambled eggs. You can see from his comment on my review he has some anger issues to deal with. The egg casserole he made the next day wasn’t good either and the salsa tasted canned but I wisely just ate the fruit.
