Love this boutique hotel. It is within walking distance of downtown shopping and restaurants. The staff are lovely and gracious. Love the glass of wine upon check in and the home made breakfast in the morning. Lots of little touches to make you feel warm and welcome! Love to stay here!

My friend and I come to Coeur d'Alene one time a year for an overnight treat. In the past we have stayed at The Coeur D'Alene Resort. We wanted to change it up and try a B and B. We were so pleased that we did. This Boutique Hotel has been refurbished and redecorated and it is sparkling clean! There...

I cannot say enough praise about the Blackwell, and would make a trip to CDA just to stay here! Simply amazing experiences in my three separate visits (rooms 1,2,&7), making it my goal to stay in every unique and perfect room. What truly sets the Blackwell apart is the attention to detail across the board. From the staff interaction, to...

My husband and I stayed at the Blackwell over Halloween weekend. It's location is fantastic. You are within walking distance to the great downtown area and waterfront park. The hotel itself is beautiful. It's restoration and the innkeepers' attention to detail is superb. I was able to sit on the front porch one evening while waiting on my husband for...

We stayed one night here on our way to camping in Idaho and stayed in what used to be the butler's quarters. The whole place was very clean, the service was amazing, and the room was very comfortable. We also liked how close it was to town (just a couple blocks). The basement was also set up for movies and...

We came to Coeur d'Alene to attend a wedding. Most of the guests stayed at a local resort, but a group of us decided to stay at the Blackwell Hotel. This little boutique B&B was just amazing. Each room our group had booked was unique and updated. We loved the coziness of staying in a house and still getting the...

This is a very well located boutique hotel in which to enjoy Coeur d'Alene. Easy parking on the street. Quiet neighborhood. We stayed in room 3 which was very comfortable and has a fireplace. The staff are all very friendly. The breakfast is an upgraded continental with egg dish, sausage, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, oatmeal. Short walk to downtown shopping...

We stayed for our 12 year anniversary, and it was our first bed and breakfast experience. I would highly recommend this hotel! It was very clean, the staff was great, and the place was absolutely beautiful! We stayed in room #1, which was very elegant and romantic. It's perfectly situated so that both downtown and the lake are within a...

We agree with all the other glowing reviews of the Blackwell Hotel. We wish we had more than one night there while passing through Coeur d'Alene to take advantage of all this property has to offer, from hot tub to movie room to lounges with fireplaces and the great porch. The building has been beautifully maintained and decorated. We enjoyed...
