We stopped here the first night of a 11 day road trip. Upon arrival we met the owners, Francine, Denis and their dog, Sprocket! We spent about an hour visiting and sharing stories; Francine and Denis are such interesting people. Also, if you're an animal lover, you will love Sprocket and the story of his cut off-line. We regrettably ended...

We are glad you enjoyed staying at Dog Bark Park Inn finding the food, accommodations & area pleasant. We are sorry the wifi is not lightning fast & sometimes spotty; unfortunately it's a fact of life in our rural area where things aren't quite as modern as the outside world. Personally, when our wifi goes out we use the few...

Firstly I have been writing for trip advisor for about 4 years now and have never given 5 stars ! From the time you set your eyes on the tranquil surrounding and the unique art you appreciate the creativity and passion. Pros: I love the rustic feel and interior decoration. The absence of TV and the abundance of board games,...

Many families tell us they enjoy all the books & games available as a diversion from electronics creating that special time to have fun truly together. Many enjoy the private upper story deck for star-watching or listening to the birds in the morning. So glad you enjoyed your stay and we'll hope to see you again.

You have to see this. We didn't get a chance to stay, as it was fully booked, but we got to meet Denis, Frances and Sprocket their handsome Golden Retriever. My wife tells me we were chatting with them for an hour and a half, but it surely didn't feel that long. It was a wet windy day when we...

Travelers are always welcome to stop by our gift shop/artist studio to visit and to get their pictures taken at the big dog. No reservation required to do this. We're happy to make suggestions for restaurants and places to see in the area. Always lovely to know that our wooden dog carvings have happy homes after being taken home as...

Ever since we saw the 'Big Dog' guesthouse in Idaho on a TV programme a few years ago, we always wanted to spend the night at the Dog Bark Park Inn. And so we finally achieved our dream! What a unique and fun experience it was sleeping in the warm 'belly' of Sweet Willy as, Toby, his smaller companion kept...

This place is amazing! Francis and Dennis made my six year old son and I feel welcome and at home right away. They have been in the area for a long time so they had great recommendations for food, hiking, and activities. Sweet Willy is very comfortable and a lot of fun to stay in. My son had a great...

I am a pet sitter, traveled all the way across the country to stay here, and thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. The place is quaint and quirky and odd and fabulous, Frances and Dennis (who run the place) are far and above the nicest people I have ever met in my life, there's a fun spot just down the street...

Here a pet-sitter can be kept safe, warm, as well as comfortably fed and entertained by a giant pet dog! We'll hope to see you again sometime.

After seeing the Dog Bark Park on television 5+ years ago, my partner and I finally had a chance to make the trip to Cottonwood. The hosts were kind, informative and very generous with treats for both people and dogs. Although we came for the unique experience of sleeping in a professionally built giant-Beagle, we found more. The hosts Frances...

Very cute, super clean and well-stocked mini kitchen area for self-serve breakfast. Very peaceful to sit on the deck at twilight watching the sun set over hills to the left and the moon come up over the hills to the right while cars periodically passed by on the highway below. We do think summer starry nights enjoyed from the 2nd story deck are fabulous experiences for savoring thoughts, conversation & the quietude of our prairie surroundings. Always good to know our guests feel similarly.

We admit the path to Dog Bark Park is indeed can be a long & winding one which makes us so glad you found it worth the extra effort to be cozy with your family in Idaho's big dog bed & breakfast guesthouse. Come explore more of Idaho when you can.

That a nice family restaurant located but a 5 minute walk from Dog Bark Park makes getting a dinner meal an easy option. Some families order takeout enjoying a picnic-style meal right at the big dog. Beagle-opoly is the most played of the games & puzzles in the guest library. So glad your family visited.
