Black Sands Resort is a primitive and motorhome campground located at C.J Strike Reservoir near Bruneau, Id. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous and there are plenty of spaces available for families to camp; however, the name "Black Sands Resort" lead me to believe that this was an actual resort. There is no lodging, rental equipment or camp store. You must...

We stayed in the RV section for a week, our friend stayed there the whole month for the second year in a row. We all had a great time. The restaurant was great, great food, great service, friendly people. The staff accommodated our every request and were very helpful. We are going again this year!

4 of us ate there and we all enjoyed it! Quality of food was good. And the portion was what you would expect and contrary to one other review here we all got the same portion. We all ordered different dinners and no complaints from any of us. . Excellent service. Coffee cups never got empty before the waitress was...

If you smoke and like tasteless poor quality food and uber slow service that barely exists... then this is the place for you! The entire place smells of cigarette smoke, the service is horrible. Apparently only overweight people get generous portions. Three of us ordered the exact same meal, two received heaping piles of steak fingers (supposedly had steak that...

“I didn't stay at the resort, we went there to eat. There is outside dining... but mind you, this is in the desert... dining mid-day is uncomfortable. The place is located on the Snake River, and you can enjoy the view if you were on the deck.”
