My sister talked me into going, and this place is wonderful. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The activities have great Varity and it is up to you what you do. The food is excellent. Biggest plus..no cell service, but they do have wireless at the lodge. This is really a week away from the stress of the world.

There simply aren't enough good things to say about Red Horse Mountain Ranch. Our family (consisting of grandparents, brothers, sisters, spouses & children) has returned to RHMR five years in a row--we just can't get enough. Every year is different and every year is even better than the last! The staff is absolutely first rate--they are there to make sure...

You can tell what types of vacations we normally take based on our user name. I think we are going to have to include the word "ranch" in it now. The family was a little nervous since this type of trip was out of our comfort zone but after about a day we knew it was going to be great....

Fantastic week with family, and it's way more than just horses. Ample opportunity to get comfortable with, and better at, riding the horse that is "yours" for the week. Our 10 year old loved the mountain biking (Matt is a great guide), 8 year old loved zip lines, dad liked complete disconnection from he rest of the world (no cell...

My daughter and I spent a week last summer (2012) at RHMR in Harrison, ID and loved it, but thought that expecting an encore might be unrealistic. That being said, we signed up for a second visit during July 2013 and, if it's at all possible, had an even better time! Much remained the same with the exception of some...

Our family spent a week in July at Red Horse Mountain. It was one of the best vacations we have had. From our arival at the ranch to departure the staff and wranglers were friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. It wasn't long before it seemed that everybody on staff knew who we...

We just returned from an extended family reunion with 36 people ages 5 to 75. The Red Horse Mountain Ranch couldn't have been better and exceeded all our our expectations. The staff and wranglers made us feel right at home and by the end of the week I wanted to adopt them all and bring them home with us! Of...

We had a family reunion with 14 people aged 72 to 4, Everyone had a great time, and found something to do from the many activities available. No hidden charges and everything was as advertised. We stayed in Hilltop House and Eagle's Nest, both were clean with comfortable beds and plenty of room. Cory and the staff provided friendly and...
