We stayed for 3 nights and must say that this is not a quiet hotel. There is traffic noise on two sides and noise from the traffic free precint on the other two sides when people are out and about late at night,. We stayed in room 20 which is at the back and it was quiet only when we...

Myself and 6 friends had booked this hotel for 3 nights in May. I could not fault this hotel at all. Its not 5 star quality - but doesnt pretend to be either. What you do get is a charming hotel with friendly, helpful staff who really want to make your stay happy. The decoration was originally opulent but is...

Stayed at the Riviera for four nights from 1 Jun 2007 on a long weekend break with friends. We wanted a hotel which had easy access to the city but which provided a break from the hustle and bustle. From the moment we entered the Riviera we knew we had made the right choice. Straight across the road from the...

We recently spent 1 night in Venice on a week long Italy trip. We decided to stay at the Riviera based on user reviews and were so glad we did. The hotel is easy to find, in a good location, clean, spacious and friendly! We arrived via the train station and getting on the boat to get to Lido was...

This is a pleasant, quiet hotel situated off the main island. Like most of Venice this establishment caters mainly for the older person of an American/British persuasion rather than an Italian guest and as a result it is slightly old fashioned and faux traditional. Breakfast is served in an eating area with table service for coffee and tea. The food...

This was by far the worst hotel I stayed at in Italy. Granted, I do tend to get a bit picky ... but in this case I wanted to give this hotel the benefit of the doubt but couldn't. The room was closet size. There is no exaggeration here ... this room was made as a single and being 6'3...

In general, I look for value in a hotel. The value was very good at the Riviera Hotel. Reasons to stay at the Riviera Hotel: 1) good price for Venice (I paid 90 euro), 2) clean, well maintained rooms, 3) friendly staff, 4) internet access just off the lobby, 5) location away from Venice core (nice to have some peace...

We booked the Riviera Hotel on the internet and were very Pleased with the choice. Excellent location for transport to Venice, other islands on the Lagoon and the Airport. As the Vaporetto water bus station is opposite the hotel, there is some noise but this presented no problem. We booked a room with a view of the Lagoon across to...

My husband and I were guests at this hotel from 03/17/07 to 03/22/07. First of all, given the difficulties I had in locating a local web address for this hotel, I will provide it here should you need to contact the hotel directly before your stay. It is ---. We were impressed with our room and the hotel in general....

The Riviera Hotel and the whole of the Lido is like stepping back in time. Both are a fabulous secret that not many people know about and I hope they never will!! Both are clean, safe and extremely welcoming!! I would urge anybody to go and enjoy it for themselves - but not too many mind!!!
