this review is truthful and sincere for a place we stayed maybe 5 years ago but we have never forgotten Ruth's Reflections Inn . this critique is long overdue but we are pleased to say there is no other word for this place other than FABULOUS . absolutely lovely rooms , peaceful surroundings , warm hospitality , and generous owners...

We were very tired when we arrived. The owners Ruth and Jim made us very comfortable including an ice pack for my aching knee. The room was charming Southwest decor, the breakfast was delicious and most of all our hosts were great to talk to.

We needed an overnight stay between Butte and Seattle, and instead of looking for a chain hotel in Walla Walla or Spokane, we found the rustic Reflections Inn on beautiful and scenic Highway 12. The reviews we read sounded fantastic, and our own experience backed up what we read. After sorting out a misunderstanding in our reservation (Jim wasn't aware...

Reflections is located on scenic highway U.S. 12, on the Clearwater River. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The wife/husband staff is very helpful. The area is quiet, beautiful, and restful. No disturbing nighttime noises, etc. Breakfast is home-cooked, sumptuous, and leaves nothing to be desired. The units have been rebuilt/refurbished very recently. There are many opportunities for...

Ruth and Doug May are great innkeepers and interesting folks. Clearly, they enjoy meeting people and being helpful. The inn rooms are in a structure separate from the main home, where the breakfast is served each morning. Ruth said that they finished a major renovation project a year ago, and the rooms are attractive, exceptionally clean, furnished with comfortable beds,...

This small inn was perfect for us while traveling Highway 12 in Idaho. Beautiful drive and scenery. The inn is set back from the road on spacious grounds. It is lovely and the rooms were charming and comfortable. The room had a mini fridge but there was also a good sized shared kitchen for guests with full size appliances, dishes,...

As another reviewer said, you can't ask for much more. Our corner room was spacious and nicely furnished, with a comfortable bed, good lighting for reading, a small fridge, and a coffee pot. Evening temperatures were cool enough in August to sleep with the windows open. All rooms open onto a deck or patio with tables and chairs. Though there...

Reflections Inn is located in a rather remote spot, at the foothills of the Bitterroot Mountains, along the Clearwater River. The Inn is not a Bed and Breakfast as one usually imagines - the guest rooms are in a two story building across a small parking area from the office/home/breakfast room. This allows for a bit more privacy than the...

The location is across highway 12 from the Clearwater River. Although it is across the highway it is not particularly noisy because the highway here in not particularly busy most of the time. The rooms are basically a 2 story motel near the main house. You have the benefit of personal space away from the home which we liked. There...

This B&B has been here for over 20 years, operated lovingly by Jim and Ruth May. I challenge you to find a more welcoming and hospitable couple. The beautifully appointed guest rooms are located in a separate building just a few steps from the main house. Located along Hwy 12 (which follows the pristine Clearwater and Lochsa Rivers for nearly...
