Shanna was wonderful on the phone and very helpful with my booking. However, the morning of my check in day she phoned me to say the owners would not be on site. No problem, I thought. Then she told me to consider bringing provisions because the restaurants were not so great on a Sunday night. But what about the Inn's...

My wife and I stopped by The Bear Bottom Inn looking for a great cup of coffee. The proprietor welcomed us and proceeded to grind fresh coffee and delivered us two cups of steaming coffee - on the house. Meanwhile we relaxed in the cozy lobby. Next time we are staying in the area we will definitely stay here. That...

We stayed here for several weeks while in working Mackay. The rooms are not huge but they are not cramped either. A fridge, microwave and coffee pot are standard. The bathroom was clean and the room was in good shape. The owners, Shanna and Anthony really make the difference. They are helpful, gracious and friendly. Wed - Sat the attached...

Mackay is a very small town. Not much except this great little hotel. Peaceful and clean, secure and quaint. This hotel has the most helpful staff. Thank you Rachel! Comfortable room had everything we needed. This is definitely a place where the staff truly cares about the comfort of their guests. We stayed two nights and we are so glad...

The property is well kept, and appears to have been recently renovated; the room cozy and attractive, with cute features such as a stuffed animal on the bed. The bar/restaurant on the ground floor is inviting and attractive. The young couple who recently purchased the establishment provided good advice on local sights and pleasant conversation.

Our family (my husband, myself, and our two kids - ages 6 and 4) stayed here for a night and it was great. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The owner, Margie, walked us to our room and provided tips for sight seeing around Mackay and Challis - very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay...

Terrific inn and friendly inn keeper. She can't do enough for you. Rooms clean and comfortable. The inn is charming. I will stay there every time we go fishing in the Big Lost River. It's a hoot. I'll stay there next week again.

My wife and I stayed here September 20, 2014. Great hospitality from Margie and the staff -- and the large clean rooms were great and we enjoyed the room's decor. The Fridge and Microwave were an added bonus. The Beds were the most comfortable beds that we have slept in at ANY motel anywhere. We have found our place to...

Twenty five miles up the Valley from Craters of the moon National monument is a delightful motel with an even more delightful restaurant /bar. The rooms have been completely redone with rustic log framed queen beds and nice bathrooms. Margaret only serves one dish in the dining room. The night we were there it was a delightful home made lasagna...

We were pleasantly surprised with the nice big room, comfortable beds and lots of hot water for showers! It was so nice to wake up in the morning and have the coffee on the front porch(coffee provided in the room). The microwave and refrigerator iwas a nice surprise. We will definitely stay here next time we're in eastern Idaho!
