Chosen by someone in the know we lured our friends to a "quiet" 40th anniversary meal and completely surprised them into finding another 17 friends and relatives waiting for them ! As always on these large gatherings you wonder about the service and /or the quality of the food involved in mass catering - NEVER FEAR !!! This establishment coped...

Sat out having a meal today after a trip up Pendle Hill. Sunny days always help of course. The menu had enough balance between traditional and imaginative.. Great selection of ales wines and spirits The service was great, polite, respectful and above all, efficient We had two Labrador dogs with us and it was no problem at this venue All...

We have just enjoyed an excellent meal here. We had pre booked and on arrival our table was ready for us complete with highchair and crayons and colouring sheet for our grandaughter. Our drinks order was taken straight away by a very friendly waitress. The menu was varied and reasonably priced. The food when it came was absolutely delicious, served...

Meal for 8 friends a few of whom like seafood. Good selection well prepared and presented. Friendly service and plenty of parking. Will be happy to go again. Drink prices don't seem over the top particularly for soft drinks.

Great beer, excellent pub food, and a warming log fire, with great advice on the beers from the locals. We went on a Monday evening so it was quiet, allowing us to get a great table by the fire. Very friendly staff and locals. It is dog friendly, which we are not too keen on, but as it was a...

I've stayed here a couple of times now & will keep going back. It's a place to wind down, enjoy walking the many trails around the gorgeous village of Barley, chat with the friendly locals and eat some very good, hearty food. Don't come here to hog your phone or spend hours scanning the internet, just throw your devices in...

It's a destination pub venue with good food in the beautiful village of Barley. A very young team serving a busy place. Service was friendly, pub was clean and cosy, food was good but not great. We had a prawn sandwich with fries and salad and a duck wrap with fries. Great value for money though, good pub with good...

Cheap & cheerful is best way to describe this place. Its not the sort of place I would ever consider going for a romantic w/e away with my wife, but for a cheap nights sleep its fine. It was clean but in need of love & care in the DIY dept. The modern floor boards creek alot when walked on,...
