My husband booked us into one of the huts with en-suite facilities for the night, we found them to be excellent, very comfy, beautifully presented. In the evening we used the bbq area, outside fire was lit and we sat with the owners and other guesses having a drink. In the morning we used the shared kitchen area it had...

We stayed in the Rabbit Huts. It was warm not just in temperature but in the beautiful fabrics used, the fresh coffee from Rabbit Island coffee, Jane's welcoming smile and interest, and in the peaceful setting. I loved the shared kitchen with great space and light and range of plates and cups from old style kiwi bach to grandmothers afternoon...

We were welcomed by the owners to this wonderful peaceful spot very close to Rabbit Island and all it has to offer by way of recreation. The accommodation in the "rabbit huts" is simply wonderful with all new bedding and acomoddation, and free WiFi. The use of the shared kitchen works really well, and the entire area with a BBQ...

The main house is beautiful. It was the perfect accommodation for our group of 8 vacationing in New Zealand. The manager made us feel very welcome. We loved the area. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Such great value for money. We paid for a hut with shared bathroom. $140 for the night with complimentary bottle of wine and basic breakfast in the well designed new kitchen. I loved the interior design of the accommodation and other buildings. Bathroom was beautiful and everything was perfectly clean. We will totally be staying again. Beautiful scenery and a...

We'll cherish the warm memories of the BBQ, campfire with other guests, the toys they brought out for the kids, all their help and...

This place was everything we expected. Jane was great to deal with and very welcoming from the moment we arrived. The cabins are so cute and just the right size to sleep and shower. We enjoyed hanging out in the shared kitchen area with our family who was also staying. The extra bathroom hut was perfect for using as well....

The 6 Rabbit Island Huts opened recently. The brand new huts have a double bed and 3 huts have an ensuite bathroom. The small room/hut has a good bed and terrace. Both the huts and indoor cooking area are nicely decorated and well equipped. The location near Rabbit Island is great and the beach is only 6km away. The owners...

Beautiful modern house in the middle of the field with cows and sheeps. Big and firm bed. Scandinavian, minimalistic bathroom and just lovely sunset front of us. Paradise. Jane is lovely hostess. Would definitely go there again.

Appleby House was a wonderful place to spend a lovely relaxing week. The house is beautiful and very roomy. Even though there were others staying in the house you hardly knew there were others there. Free wifi is provided and the shared kitchen area is great. The beds were very comfortable. The hosts Jane and John were fantastic and very...
