We were comfortable for a quick overnight following a full day raft trip down the Salmon. Room was pleasantly cool, very clean, quiet and reasonably priced. Close to Mountain River Outfitters base, so convenient for us too.

We recently stayed at the Riggins Motel for four nights while visiting the area. Although it is an older place our room was very clean and the bed comfortable. And the owner was terrific! Very attentive to our every need.... We would definitely stay here again.

DO NOT stay here!! My husband were woken up to someone entering our room that was locked using a key at midnight. Talk about feeling violated! When we went to the lady that runs the place to talk to her about it our conversation lasted about 30 seconds and she shut the door in our face and refused to talk to us. Very poor customer service and very poor security/privacy. We will NEVER stay here again! UPDATE: 2 days later she wrote a comment that is completely false. I even called to her talk about it and there is absolutely no reasoning with her. She says she has security camera footage that shows no one entered my room in the middle of the night. Really?? She won’t even let me see them without a court order. Are you kidding me? My husband and I are not unreasonable or violent. We NEVER ONCE physically threatened her staff. We only talked to her. If there is any security footage it would show that we stood in the grass while she stood on the porch. Way to go on your business and customer service skills!

We arrived at around 1am. Woke up the owner who was very pleasant. Got our room, parked the uhaul and were out for the night. Woke up the next morning to drive to New Mexico and walk out of the room to find the most beautiful sight of mountains and fresh air. I want to mention the grounds of this motel are impeccable. Checked out with the owner and told him how happy we were. I want to add that I have been in the hotel industrie for over 31 years and was extremely impressed. Do this owner a favor and put your money at his place. Clean, beautifully landscaped and you can tell he cares. Thank you and we will 100% be back soon.

This is a quaint motel consisting of several small units. We had a nice 2 double bed, pet friend room with frig and coffee maker that was perfect for our use. It is an older motel so the walls are thin but the rooms were clean, the owners were wonderful and very accommodating. Onsite laundry and free ice. Close to three national forests so thousands of miles of ATV trails. The entire town is UTV friendly so no trailering your machine to a trailhead...leave right from the motel. Bars and restaurants within walking distance. Grocery store made box lunches for our day trips. Great central location for under $100!

Often when you sty in one of these historic old motels it is a real crap soot. This place is straigh aces. It has new ownership in the past year and the current proprietor really takes pride and ownership for the place and its clients. It sparkles with enthusiasm. As with all things old there are items but they seem to be being addressed. The wifi is weak but they are working on it. ( who goes to Riggins for wifi anyway) I wold stay here any time and really appreciate the effort of the current people.

This hotel is the most perfect find for those who like small small towns and small bungalows. We absolutely love it! The rooms are quaint and have just enough room for what you need. The beds are comfy, therr are roomy walk in showers. There is parking for each room. I don't think the traffic fro the main road is a bother. Oh, there is a rustic hot tub. Restaurants are close by within walking distance. We sat on the small patio and visited comfortably.

First time participating in the Women and Bait Fishing Derby. We stayed at the Riggins Motel for two nights. Room #10 included two queen beds, a microwave, refrigerator, flat screen tv and a fairly decent sized bath. The baseboard heat worked well, too. We came into town about 6 pm. Ate dinner, went to bed and fished all day. Came back to the motel after a February day of fishing and the shower was hot and strong. No blow dryer in the room, but I called the office and was immediately accommodated with one. Paid $73 for two nights - central to everything in town so we just parked our truck at the motel and walked everywhere, which was nice. The only cons I have are very, very easy and economical to fix. 1) No hangers to be found anywhere, which wouldn’t be bad if there were a few of those 3M easy hanging hooks around the room. No hooks in the bath either. Only one towel bar for two full sets of towels Two shelves one in the room and one in the bath to set anything on. You can get a two pack of those hooks for like $7.
