I took a star off just for the restaurant that is on property, Chimney Rock (please see its reviews). Instead of a complimentary appetizer ticket, how about a complimentary warning!? Yikes. The room was spacious, access to the slopes great, service was friendly. The internet access was atrocious and the TV control needs to be and could be easily modified...

Just loved this mountain! 6hr easy trip from Seattle. Stayed at Holiday Inn Express which was fabulous. Clean, quiet and affordable. This ski resort was one of the most relaxed friendly places I have ever been. The terrain is great for us since I love the wide groomers and husband likes to tree ski, lots of intermediate runs and never...

This is truly a fantastic place, the ski resort is just amazing, the variety of terrain the snow conditions, the lake view the cat skiing, the snowmobiling all right there, the lodging is fantastic, staff super friendly and helpful, the resort restaurant Chimney Rock is very good, the free breakfast is awesome. This title may seem exaggerated and, to some extent, it is. The Selkirk Lodge and the White Pine Lodge are not the Four Seasons or the Ritz Carlton but, for the money, it's the finest and most luxurious ski-area hotel lodging we've ever stayed at (and we've been to almost every ski area west of the Mississippi). We were here...

Annually we spend a weekend at Schweitzer Mountain for a continuing education meeting. For several years we have stayed at the Schweitzer Mountain Lodge for two nights during the meeting. The rooms are very nice with comfortable beds, lovely quilts, and all the amenities you could want. It is very clean and well maintained and the staff is very nice.

My family and I stayed at the Selkirk for two nights. The kids age 10,10 and 13 had a ski race that weekend. We reserved the one bedroom with king, pull out sofa and also got a rollaway. I was worried that we would be cramped with all the snow gear but we were just fine and very comfortable. The...

Just returned from a 3 night stay. All of the hotel staff I encountered was helpful and friendly. The room and bed was comfortable and you can't get any more mountain convenience than staying here. My only surprise was how the rooms are only semi-prepared for pacific northwest skiing. There are balconies in the rooms that would normally be used...

(1/15/2016) Phenomenal snow conditions this year at Schweitzer!! Powder stashes everywhere, and the snow just keeps on coming. I loved the blue cruisers, but friends took detours from where I skied and said it was awesome in the trees!! One of my best ski days, ever!!

We stayed two nights here in late August and found it close to being deserted. Shops closed, no activities. But room was great! Spacious, comfortable bed. Could use an indoor hot tub/spa area. We stayed in Selkirk Lodge.
