We enjoyed our stay at the High Country Inn in August, 2016. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. No breakfast is provided (we provided our own), but everything is within easy walking distance in Stanley, so it shouldn’t be an issue. Their “no pet” policy is appreciated, and that probably help keeps the property clean.

We stayed one night on our way to Ketchum. Very comfortable bed & extremely clean, quiet room. Wifi only in the lobby but free popcorn! Friendly, attractive place conveniently within a short walk to Stanley Baking Co (great breakfast) & the Kasino Club (dinner).

We spent just one night there, and the view was spectacular from our balcony. The entire inn is heavy pine logs and very nicely done. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Very comfortable beds and it was very quiet. We opened the window for nighttime breezes and it was good sleeping.

We noticed today when we were leaving after two nights-a For Sale sign hidden in the overgrown garden. Sad. Michelle-the Jill of all trades was extremely friendly. Our room was comfortable but not worth the 150.00@night. The pictures shown on their site do not represent what this Inn looks like today. There is no hot tub for one thing. There...

I spent two nights here. I was a little concerned when I discovered there was no air conditioning, but the ceiling fan in the room did an excellent job cooling the room, and at night I opened the window. The room had adequate lighting, comfortable beds and the most comfortable pillow I've ever experienced! The location is great, but with...

If you're looking for a cozy little cabin style accommodations nestled at the base of the breath-taking Sawtooth mountains, The High Country Inn is a great place to stay! The price is affordable and the accommodations were great! The views are amazing from the back porch of our room! A perfect little getaway for any couple or family!

Stanley is an adorable little town, and High Country Inn is the perfect place to spend a few days. We stayed in the lodge, which is about a dozen rooms. The room had a comfortable king bed, couch, desk, shared balcony (overlooking the Sawtooths), and cozy, but adequate bathroom. The building also features a shared downstairs "living room" with cozy...

We stayed after a long journey visiting my husbands family in Idaho this spring and it was an excellent choices. The service was not overly personable but the hotel itself is stylish and lacks the normal, stale feel of some of the resorts in the area. Check in was quick, had to ask a lot of questions but we did...

My husband and I decided to get out of town for the weekend and go off grid for awhile. We initially booked a room at the Mountain Village Resort in Stanley but booked an additional night with High Country Inn. We LOVE this hotel! It is the best hotel in Stanley by far! We booked one of the cabinetts which...

For my short trip to Stanley, Idaho I decided to go with locals recommendation and stay at the High Country Inn. The location of this hotel was perfect: amazing views of the Sawtooth's and in the downtown area of Stanley. Upon arrival, we where greeted by Melinda who was an amazing host. We stayed in the "Ace of Diamonds" suite...
