Detailed Reviews
My friend & I stayed one night (October 14) in the Mountain Lodge section. We had a two queen room on the 3rd floor. The hallways are dark and dingy, the carpet looks decades old, the rooms are tired and dated. I would like to know what the rooms in the Spa Tower are like, as that section looks newer. The front desk staff need improvement. The check-in guy seemed grumpy. On check-out, my friend's credit card wouldn't go through (due to their system as she used it the rest of the day with no problem) and she had to withdraw $ from the ATM. There was no apology from the staff. The casino has lots of machines, but not a single black jack table or roulette table. I think they are short staffed right now. What we didn't realize is that the casino (except for a small area) allows smoking, and so all of our clothes just stunk of cigarette smoke when we left the casino at the end of the evening. We wanted ice for the room and it required hiking shoes and a map to find a functioning ice machine. Even the staff didn't know where to find a working ice machine. That said, other than the front desk staff, every employee that we spoke to was very friendly and very helpful. We would not come back here though due to the extreme second hand smoke in the casino, and the old, outdated hotel rooms. Next time I would look for a smoke free casino with actual table games and newer and fresher rooms.

Any long-mile RV travelers on Hwy 95 should have this place circled for a safe stop, and good experience if you like casino atmospheres. I'm not a gambler, but the Wifey likes to pull the handle on some penny games, and I like to sample what casino dining options there are. As far as leveling: It's all on a slight down hill slope tarmac, even the powered sites. But any leveling items you have will do the job. Hard to think of a more affordable, nicer option when roadside traveling, if you can handle a night of dry camping. We look for destinations when we do our weekend getaways. This place is in the rotation, now...

well we were disappointed with this resort we arrived on a Sunday for 3 nights stay and on a tour we have to get all the information and room key that process is gong show 54 people jammed in to a small area ? So after that we were told that most of the restaurants were closed until the middle of the week so we had the choice of the Red Tail grill or the Huckleberry deli? Then we went to the casino where we tried to use the free money that they gave us and is. Worst system ever ? Complicated to say the least we found out that it only works on on the newer machines? We stayed in the Mountain lodge section and that is very tried carpet are showing signs of wearing out and the rooms need updating? We will not be back

Visited the casino resort for a golf trip. Its owned and operated by the Coeur d'Alene Tribe. The Circling Raven Golf Club there is 10 out of 10; it was extremely enjoyable playing the course, which we did twice. We stayed in the Spa Tower, which is the newer of the two hotel wings. The older Mountain Wing is in need of refurbishing which I was told is being scheduled for the near future. The Spa Tower rooms were excellent - clean, comfy, quiet, large, with Native themed decor. The food at Red Tail and Chinook restaurants was tasty, with Red Tail casual and Chinook finer dining. The food court has Little Dragon (Asian) and a new pizza eatery (Arrowhead) is supposed to open in November 2024 we were told. And the Twisted Earth bar and grill at Circling Raven's clubhouse was one of the better restaurants experienced at a golf club that I've encountered. The service throughout the resort was excellent as the casino hotel and golf staffs went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. I am gambler so I spent much time playing the video gaming machines and had a lot of luck, winning several thousand. There are non-smoking areas and a high-limit area, and the casino is clean and well decorated. All in all, this was a great experience. Can't wait to go back.

On a road trip from Spokane to Billings, Grand Forks and back, decided to detour a little to this Indian Reservation Casino for a bit of R&R.
I was not disappointed in the hotel, but the nights we stayed the food choices were extremely limited, so we drove down past Worley to a local restaurant that was amazing.
Great rooms with large beds and good AC.
Staff were so polite and early checkin was allowed free, thank you.
Worth a visit if passing by.
Note that this casino only has video tables to play at, no live casino tables. Lots of slots also.

Rooms are a little dark, beds were clean and comfortable.
Bathroom was not up to Covid standards. The taps and shower had water marks all over them, meaning they had not been polished and cleaned well. There was a layer of dust on the TV and the middle bedside table had dust on it as well. (We had brought Clorox wipes and disinfectant with us thankfully.)
Housekeeping (For departed guests rooms) had doors open, they were cleaning with no masks on.
Obviously, due to the Pandemic there is no house keeping during your stay unless you request it for the room.
Casino was paying out well and busy.
Staff are very friendly and nice Maria and Todd (name maybe incorrect) front desk were exceptional.
No idea why the indoor pool is open seemed insane to us with people swimming and breathing all over each other.
Yes you have a temperature test every time you enter the building.

I was there volunteering for the 2021 Circling Raven Road to the LPGA Championship and decided to stay in my toy hauler and tailgate instead of paying high prices for food on site. I would have rated 4 or 5 stars instead of 3 due to a bad experience.
Since I was working the tournament, I had made a request for RV site 13 6+ months in advance and was told it was open and would probably get it. When I checked in on a Wednesday, I was greeted fine but told I could not be in 13. I was told it was taken all weekend and the rv lot would be full. However, site 13 was empty except for Sunday night and the RV lot never filled up past 1/4 full from Wednesday to my leaving Monday.
Here’s the bad: Only electrical hook ups, no shade trees, Verizon does work OK but forget being able to stream, no WiFi, spaces are tight between each other and if 2 rigs next to each other had slide outs it would be challenging, and the side slope is horrible (roughly an 8” elevation change in my site 19). The RV lot is just a converted parking lot.
Here’s the good: Cost was $20/night with a $5 match play. The staff I interacted with were awesome and one person stopped and helped me load my smoker up the trailer ramp. The shuttle service was very good and drivers friendly. The location was quiet. Security was good. If you golf the course is AWESOME and highly recommend (I live about 2 hours away and have played it several times).
How I did my rating: I took off a star due to no water, septic, or tv hook up along with poor WiFi. I took off 2 stars for the “lying” about site 13 and them being full. I gave 1 star back for a great staff interaction with maintenance, shuttle, and valet personnel.
Would I stay again? I would not if it was just to be a destination or weekend getaway. I probably will if I work the golf tournament again.

First time staying in hotel. Check in fine, rooms are very spread out. Signage is a little confusing, but found my room(3rd floor). Standard hotel room with shower over tub. Everything was very clean. They could use some better pillows, queen size bed with kiddie size pillows. Pleasant room. Casino has grown and has non smoking area as well. Not too generous on the slots, no table play. Valet parking was not very active, I drove up at 5 pm, saw no one at kiosk, waited a bit, but didn’t see anyone. So I self parked. When I came in I saw the valet sitting inside. Food at the Red Tail grill was okay, I had a chimichanga. It was a little dry but nice presentation. Overall good stay and friendly people!

We stayed at Coeur d'Alene Casino on the nights of March 15 and 16, 2020. We arrived with the Big Sky Travel group. Our rooms were ready and the greeters informed us about the precautions being taken to protect customers against COVID-19.
The casino had obviously been scrubbed and the first night, they shut it down for a couple hours in the wee hours of the morning to do a deep cleaning.
We were very satisfied with the quality, cleanliness, and comfort of this hotel/ casino and we will definitely go again when things open back up for recreational travel.

Our room was clean and quiet. We called housekeeping about our in-room coffee pot, and they came without delay.
Great water pressure, and you don't hear everyone else's bathroom activities. Mini-mini fridge in room. Great sized TV with cable.

We haven't been there since Mother's Day and we ate at the restaurant. I don't know about the buffet.
Due to COVID I'd doubt even if there us one it would not be in use.
Call them much easier.
Yes, I just called them and they said, "yes, we do have some smoking rooms".
Had an handicapped accessible room and it definitely does have roll in showers. Have a bench in shower to that folds up.
