We stayed one night in a very well-appointed room, which was either totally refurbished, or new, as we did not see any sing of it being old (as some other reviews suggest) Good bathroom, with reasonalble heating, clean, tidy, well stocked, everything you could ask for. The only small drawback is that the master bed is in the same place...

We stayed here only 1 night on our way to ride the Central Otago rail trail. It was spotless, well-stocked and the bedding was crisp and clean. This is an older hotel but charming. The owner was great as well. I would stay here again.

We stayed a night at the Roxburgh Motels while doing the Roxburgh Gorge and Clutha Gold Cycle Trails. The manager was very helpful and accommodating and very involved in bringing about the development of these trails. While the room was a little dated, it was spacious, clean and tidy with a new bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen. The setting is...

Just wanted to pass on what a great little motel this was and at a very reasonable price. Host Joyce was very gracious and lovely, especially at this time when her husband was in hospital. Close to all the coffee bars etc and we as a larger group managed to get the hotel around the corner to open for us...

Good central location, tidy comfortable rooms with everything one would expect or want. A new facility is designed for groups using common kitchen etc. but has private rooms. The motel is a partner to the Clutha Gold walking/cycling trail. Pleasant owners.

Loved the motel. Our hosts were very helpful and let us use the laundry facilities. (And had hung out our clothes by the time we had returned from the pub!) The rooms were clean and comfortable. Our only concern was there weren't fans or aircon which isn't a biggie but we had ridden in 40 degree heat (yes in NZ)...

A great stop as part of the Clutha Gold Trail. Really helpful staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable and easy walking distance to the town. Just what you need after a hard day on the bike. Our company had bags delivered so worked perfectly.

This motel is thoughtfully and carefully run. Our twin rooms had a big lounge area with kitchen facilities, a pleasant surprise when we'd not expected to be able to cook. They stock Fairtrade sugar, tea etc which is fantastic. The kitchen/living area was large enough to sit around the table or lounge on the sofa & watch TV. The bathroom...
