This was a difficult place to find but once here, immediately felt at home. Checkin was a breeze, room was well maintained, clean and comfortable, so off to a good start. When I went looking for ice, Patty came out of cooking in the kitchen to get me some. Then when my ice bag broke, she did the same, It seemed everybody there was willing to help, advise or suggest. One of the people there even told me the origin of Penobsquis...? Great service. The full breakfast was excellent. One of the best experiences in my two week stay in the Maritimes....

I have just finished a 4 night stay here while working in the area temporarily. Check in was quick and staff very helpful and friendly. The motel is located in a quiet area. The rooms are comfortable, quiet and very clean. I was told the restaurant was one of the best around and definitely enjoyed meals there. Breakfast came with thick sliced home made bread. Have booked again for next week and will most likely stay here while working in the area

We stayed one night at the Timberland Motel and were really impressed with the place, the services and facilities and the staff. They were extremely helpful and cyclist friendly. Thank you and all the best with the motel and restaurant. If we are ever back in the Sussex area, we will be sure to drop in.

Very kind and helpful and the place is pet friendly! The room was comfortable, good sized, quiet and clean. The restaurant attched was crazy busy in the evening and our breakfast was delicious and FREE. This was a nice place to stay.

We booked this room through Expedia and it was not as advertised. Other places were booked near our destination and could not back out since the cancellation policy was 24 hours prior. The picture advertised is of some place entirely different. ( we asked to see 4 other rooms ) It is a very tired but clean motel. The other guests were rowdy. The restaurant was the only saving grace. The food was excellent and priced reasonably.

This past weekend we stayed at Timberland for soccer provincials. I was not sure what to expect from an older inexpensive motel. We were more than pleased with the accommodations. We had a room with two double beds. Some of the furniture items were older however everything was in good shape. The mattresses, pillows, bedding, curtains etc have all been updated and are really nice. The room was extra clean, the pool was a hit with the kids and the restaurant/pub was a bonus. The service at the restaurant was a bit slow however the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend.

Unfortunately we traveled during the high-season and had booked 2 nights at this hotel. Upon arrival, dirty spot on the floor, toenails, when I asked for a vacuum they handed me an EVEN DIRTIER broom telling me that's what they had. Went back to the frontdesk to share that this will not be ok and TADAA a vacuum appeared. I canceled my 2nd night hopefully just in time before 6 pm. There's a smell of locks and the bathtub's tiles broken. The windows' stores broken.... and can't Crack a window open because there is no window mosquito net. Windows were incredibly difficult to move and very dirty. Dead flies too. No freezer included with the regular fridge. The nighstands are aged and scratched.. HOWEVER IF EVER they were to smell any cigarette odor they will not hesitate to charge you a 250$ cleaning fee. (150% cost of the night itself). Very nice dining room though. Employees are nice the rooms are not. However I only pay for the room not by how employees are nice. Additionally we did not have any info about : pool's schedule, breakfast... not worth the 150$ 😔😔...

This was our first visit to Timberland restaurant! We had a difficult time finding the place! After a very long drive, we were ready to eat anything. When we arrived the ample brunch buffet needed replenishing. The dark dining room with its walls painted black gave a gloomy welcome. We would try again with another visit.

We stopped here for lunch today and would have loved to stay longer. The club sandwich was delicious and the fries were home cut and cooked to perfection. The greek salad was served with a warm roll and was more than enough for lunch. The paintings were also incredible, and the people as warm and as helpful as it is possible to be. We didn't stay at the motel but it looks like the rooms are all being refurbished and they would certainly be spotlessly clean.
