If you want a winter break at 25C and sun every day in a spotless great food and service all inclusive hotel with only an hours time difference then look no further! Both Rui hotels are brilliant and staff so genuinely friendly.

The Riu Touareg is not really a 5 star hotel, but it is still good value for money. The complex is like a small village, which is just as well because there is nothing else about for miles. It is clean. The food is ample and varied. The rooms are ok. This is our second time at the hotel and...

Don't go expecting an 'exclusive' feel 5 star hotel. This big hotel set on a nice beach quite far from anything is more like an affordable 4 star by European standards but it does have some nice features. We found the food excellent, the new infinity pool very relaxing and the kids' play area a real bonus. The Spa is...

After a busy working Christmas, this was a perfect retreat. This isn't the place for you if you like to wander down to a local town for an evening walk/drink. There is literally nothing around for miles and miles other than protected beaches and barren land. The beach was stunning but had a red flag all week so we weren't...

I will start by saying this is a lovely hotel, but much too big for us. Please do not take this too negative as it is only our opinion. The food and drink were in abundance and very nice it was too. If you want to book into the other restaurants in the hotel that is another thing. I went...

We stayed at this hotel from 09 to 16 January. Initially we were allocated block 8, with very little views. However my husband and I upgraded to the adults only and wasn't disappointed. I'll start with the positives and believe me there are lots! The rooms are basic, but clean. Cleaned daily. The adults only rooms have a mini bar...

super large spotlessly clean rooms, excellent staff, awesome choice and quality of food, lovely setting. no real smoking policy, entertainment don't take seriously ,they need a adults only pool . great for family's not a warner holiday if you get the gist. despite red flags by the sea, went swimming every day in the beautiful crystal clear water. only concern...

I would love to know where some people who criticise go for their holidays normally, cos they must be absolute paradise. Please don't listen to all the doom mongers on here. Granted it's not for you if you're after an action packed adventure. It is fairly remote but that is its charm. Get yourselves out on a trip or two....

What an amazing resort. Straight from the airport through the little town of Boa Vista and out to the amazing massive resort surrounded by endless white beaches. I enjoyed every minute of this holiday. The staff are super friendly, the food choices are extensive and very tasty. If you love healthy food there is an endless supply of sushi and...
