Travelled as a family of four (2 children, 6m baby). Not a great experience, kids and including myself got sick whilst there. Be careful what you eat, I remember my husband was about to bite into his chicken and realised that it was still pink...More

Overall a fantastic but extremely large resort. If they sorted out a few minor issues it would be perfect.
Replace some of the evening entertainment shows. Given the size of the audience it should be much better.
More toilets in the main areas.

I booked mine through Thompson when i got the holiday. (Going October). Ive read multiple success stories of people booking at reception for cheaper, but also seen many stories of people being put on a waiting list. For us the extra was worth it for our honeymoon but we did pay more than if we chanced it and upgraded at the reception on arrival.

Get a sunbed away from the thatched brollies, they are a haven for mozzies. If you need shade get a bed facing the beach where you can use a pulley system to pull canvas over you. Take plenty of mozzie spray and sun cream, keep to factor 50 throughout the duration of your holiday. If you like snacks in your room crisp, chocolate etc buy them at home and put them in your main luggage, not your hand luggage, as the shops there are very expensive. No new rooms in adult section, they are block 9 next to infinity pool, and block 3 close to adults section. On arrival don't leave you luggage for the bellboys you could be waiting all day for it to arrive at your room. Take a toilet duck to hang in the toilet, after each flush put a few kettle fulls of tap water in the toilet, especially the last flush of the night, this will keep the smell to a minimum. If you eat late at main restaurant you will not get the same choice as they run out of the most popular things like lamb and Yorkshire puddings. Hope this helps.
