My wife and I favor lay back, simple, jungle ecolodges. We look for clean, basic and low-cost accommodation, a beautiful setting, and gracious hosts. We found all that and more at the Rosalie and Three Rivers Eco-lodge. The lush grounds of palm, banana and fruit trees merge into the old-growth tropical forest. By night, the frogs and insects serenade. The...

Very relaxed place with lots to do around. All the basics one can need (wifi, dinnner, rum, shower - cold water in the mornings and warm in the evenings) are there and after that is up to you and what you wish to do with your time. Road was a bit rough but not as bad as it can get...

Jem was a wonderful host who has put a tremendous amount of love and care towards his eco-lodge. There was a lot to see and do within a short walk of our room. And the food was spectacular! Honestly one of the best meals I have had this week, and I've been to a few Michelin star restaurants. Try it...

Rosalie Forest (also known as 3 Rivers) was undoubtedly one of the best things about my trip to Dominica. It's nestled in the heart of the rainforest with amazing waterfall and nature hikes within 30-45 minutes from the lodge site. The food was beyond stellar and hospitality unlike anything else i had experienced on the island. The owner and operator...

My partner and I stayed at 3 Rivers in early April 2016. We spent a night in the treehouse, as well as a week in the Rose Cottage. The entire experience was simply amazing! Jem, the owner, greeted us upon arrival and showed us around the property. We were just in time to see many newly hatched baby chicks, brand...

We recommend three rivers ecolodge to nature lovers and to people looking for a place to rest. We swam in one of the rivers and that was lovely. The welcome is warm and genuine, thanks again to Jem and to Steve the Cook. We had a good time. If you are a bit lazy ask for the cottage next to...

My wife, our 1 year old son and I stayed in the Lime Cottage and it was immaculate. The property is beautiful. There are a lot of activities on the property. There are waterfalls and large pools in the rivers that you can hike to from the lodge. My son was particularly entertained with Gary the donkey. We ate breakfast...

A great place to camp on the east side of the island. Jim is a friendly, accommodating host from England who has a beautiful property set in the rainforest. He knows the area very well and is super helpful.

As other reviews have stated: this place is not for everyone. The reason we stayed there was that we wanted to see some real ecotourism in action. That is exactly what we got. We absolutely loved our stay at Rosalie Forest/3Rivers Ecolodge! We decided to book the Ultimate Package because we wanted to see all of what Dominica had to...

This place is not for everyone. Go directly to the website, as Jem (the owner) does a great job at explaining what he has to offer. A great Eco lodge located in Rosalie, it offers a little bit of everything. Cottages, tree houses and camping grounds. I stayed 6 nights in the rose cottage and it couldn't have been better....
