The hotel is in a great location and is architecturally lovely. It's one block from blue line to/from airport. We had a clean and quiet room with a nice view. The water temp varied a lot and at times wasn't hot enough for bathing. The most memorable annoyance involved the wood frame on our king-size bed. The room was small...

This hotel is located pretty close to the attractions we were going to visit that weekend. The staff was very helpful and fast. We used the valet parking and never had problems with it. Our room was very pretty and spacious. All amenities were available and anything else we needed upon request. We really liked this hotel, our only con...

Stayed at The Alise hotel for a long weekend in Chicago. I highly recommend getting the stay and park package. This saves time and energy looking for a place to park and is cheaper than paying separately. The hotel is located in between a few different L train stops, which makes getting around Chicago very easy. If you're in town...

We originally booked 6 rooms at the Burnham Hotel, housed in the historic Reliant Building gloriously located downtown in the Chicago Loop. Then the hotel was sold to the Pineapple Group (seriously?) and renamed the Alise. So, the transition was fine and we arrived to experience Pineapple hospitality. I was impressed. The front desk staff was great. Darnell was a...

Dear Boulder Bill, We're excited to hear you had such a great stay and that the "new" Alise hasn't let you down. We're sorry you miss the old Burnham name, but we promise we still have all the great history, and have renamed our meeting room The Burnham Room. Staypineapple is a fun and funky brand, and The Alise just...

Our experience was all around wonderful. We loved the ambience of the historic charm with modern updates. It was very comfortable and the staff was incredibly friendly. Everyone from housekeepers, to concierge, to waiter staff were eager to help us and very enjoyable. Rooms were fine, including the workout area. Restaurant food was great too.

The Alise is located in the classic Reliance building in the Loop district of downtown Chicago. The location is excellent with many of Chicago's most famous tourist attractions within walking distance. Other than that, I was not overwhelmed. This hotel seems to lack a certain something, it's as though it's trying to be cool and boutique but without the edge...

Great location and staff. They let us check in early and even upgraded our room. The hotel was clean and well maintained. We only stayed a night, but the location near the the L train really helped getting around.

This hotel is amazing! The amenities are ultra modern, but the hotel is vintage preserved in the details. Location cannot be beat, just a few blocks in from Millennium Park, 2 blocks off Magnificent Mile, and right on State St - All great areas to explore, site see, and shop! If you prefer rooftop brunch, you're just a few blocks...
