We had a great time at Hotel Monaco. I loved the window benches and large shower in the corner suites. The hotel, service, and city were all amazing. Definitely check out Eataly while in town. I look forward to the next Chicago trip.

I usually stay at the Burnham, but because they have new ownership I thought I would try the Monaco. It was everything I expected. The staff was very friendly and the room had the same funky vibe as the Burnham. The hotel is in a great location at the north end of the Loop. I did not get a chance...

Emerson, a very sweet and helpful guy at the front desk, checked us in and we were delighted to find that we had been upgraded to an amazing room with awesome window seats and views of the river. This hotel is in a great location in downtown Chicago and the staff are the best. Stay here!

This hotel is perfectly situated for visiting the major tourist attractions in Chicago. The beds are extremely comfortable. The towels and robes are a little older and scratchy. The bathtub is shallow. The major disappointment, and not fault of the hotel, is that after paying for a room upgrade we opened the windows to see a giant "TRUMP" sign on...

CanadaClare - Thank you for the positive feedback on our location & comfortable accommodations. We hope that you managed to enjoy the remainder of the view of the river, it really is pretty amazing if you look west! As far as the newspapers, please feel free to let us know at check-in next time. As part of our environmentally friendly...

I do love Kimpton hotels. They all have the same friendly vibe but not the chain feeling. I was greeted by their super friendly staff when I walked in. And went to a nice sized King room. Was able to have dinner and breakfast at the restaurant downstairs which was fast and very tasty. They offer yoga mats in each...

Every single person encountered at the Kimpton greeted us with genuine warmth and helpfulness. Out of their way. This was the most unique feature at this hotel compared to so many other brands. The decor of the Monaco was really beautiful and exotic. Our room was perfect, the bathroom was oversized and that was appreciated! Thank you and I can't...

Stayed 3 nights for a mother/daughter trip to see Hamilton. So happy with our stay. All staff members were perfection - bellman, front desk, cleaning, happy hour staff, etc. We appreciate the happy hour and took advantage 2 of the 3 nights. Hotel is right by the river and close to theaters . We walked everywhere, even to Second City...

Stayed here for 3 nights for an in-hotel seminar. Great place for groups of 10 to 75. Staff, food, location, meeting facilities were excellent. Location is perhaps the best I've had for inner Chicagoland - right off the Riverwalk.

Got in very late on 1st day but made it to the bar for some appetizers and a few drinks. Bartender was great. Concierge and hotel staff was very helpful and had great recommendations! Always love the free morning coffee and happy hour wine!

Excellent location between North Riverfront and Michigan Ave. Small but comfortable lobby, nice rooms and the restaurant is good for breakfast. If you are a Kimpton point member and book through another booking site you might not get your points, so call them direct and ask for the same price.
