Gorgeous building and common areas, with authentic restoration of the original building which looks like it was a bank or office building. However the room was small, very far from the elevator, with a cramped, almost unusable bathroom.

One of the Crown Jewels in the Hilton portfolio, the hotel could give its own history tour, which it does Monday thru Saturday at 1:30 pm. The lobby itself is worth the visit, and the Empire Room hearkens back to the days of the Big Bands and entertainers which performed thru 1976, when it stopped being a show stop for...

This hotel is walking distance from the park and the water. The lobby is stunning and my room was larger than I expected. There is a starbucks under the hotel as well which was handy. Its a great nostalgic looking but nice hotel.

My daughter and I stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. She arrived at O'Hare, and I came from Midway. We used the easy directions for taking the trains that are on the hotel website, and we met up in the hotel lobby. The hotel lobby truly is beautiful and is a great place to sit and watch people. Our...

Spent 5 nights with my daughter who was auditioning for college BFA programs. The hotel is huge and maintains it's old grandeur with updated amenities. We were fortunate to be on an executive level with access to the concierge lounge for breakfast / snacks. A benefit of this was having access to a separate elevator - which we were grateful...

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Palmer House Hilton. We traveled as a family of four as we were going to see Hamilton, for which The Private Bank Theatre is less than a block away. We thought the location was wonderful. We stayed on the 22 floor, executive level, enjoyed the evening appetizers and breakfast. The room itself,...

This is a great place to stay. It is historic and amazing to check out. The rooms a modern but kept the original feel. I recommend getting the executive level, less waiting on the elevator and the executive lounge on the twenty third floor.

Too many people in a bar, & can be very noisy at night. The breakfast was normal, nothing special except you are for more eggs with charges 10$. The room is tiny, & bath room is so small. I need to stand on toilet to get out the room. If you expect modern one, stay away from this hotel. There's...

When I came to this hotel the first time, I thought I got into a museum! With the beautiful European ceiling paintings, iron decorations on the walls, unique peacock gate, I felt I left the busy Chicago behind and entered a wonderland. Though the room doesn't have a lot of city views, its size is decent. Its furniture/bathroom is contemporary...
