We took Blueline directly from the airport, the hotel is approx. 100m walk away. We got a good looking room, unfortunately, only one tiny bathroom was working and one small wardrobe open. We asked for a change and were promptly given another room with 2 bathrooms and plenty wardrobe space. Staff was very friendly, beds comfortable, cleaning thorough. The lobby...

Chose Palmer House because of location, history and hotel membership. The lobby is incredible. Interesting portraits of all the classic performers who played in the Empire Room line the hallways. The on-site restaurant, Lockwood, was a disappointment. Otherwise, the stay was average.

While walking into the hotel you would not think you were about to go up elevators into a lobby unlike anything that you have seen since the glory years of Hollywood. The lobby, the halls, and the rooms have all been redone to oreginal. It was history everywhere and just walking the halls was an adventure. The service was excellent...

You're intrigued by historical? This is the place. Beautiful lobby and yet warm and inviting too! Friendly service. Rooms are quaint and ask for coffee maker and it does appear! Walk to everything! You won't be disappointed! Ask about the history: what a story! Yes Hilton owns and manages but it's truly special.

On my second business trip to Chicago, I stayed at the Palmer House with some associates from Sweden. By American standards, the room was just adequate. Small, clean, very acceptable...but small. However, to the Swedes, the room was perfectly fine. What amazed them was the lobby. This is an old Grand Hotel from a time when people did not spend...

Big city, big hotel. The Palmer House has all the bells and whitsles. There is no question that you are staying in the big city. parking is at least $50 each night. The hotel has all the amenities and the best parts are not the rooms per se but the elaborate common areas. Very photogenic and good for drinks and...

Great location in Chicago. Updated historic property. Stayed in an executive king room and found it comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was included in our rate and quite satisfactory. Would stay at the Palmer again.

Dear Palmer House, You have ruined me. I can never stay in another hotel without comparing it to your perfection. You are historic and beautiful and charming and welcoming. You live in the ideal part of downtown. You are surrounded by the coolest stuff. Your executive level floor spoils me. You are the best of Chicago. I love you Palmer...
