My Dad and I stayed here for two months between October and January in 2018- 2019. The room was in excellent taste and condition. Breakfast was always great. Handicapped Parking was always available. The public restrooms were clean- spotless and smelled not like a bathroom.

Plane got cancelled. Holiday inn put us up for the night. Will Mohamed (restaurant manager) & Gaby (bartender) were the best hosts ever to us! Definitely recommend to stay here when you are in a bind.

I ate in the bar area and the salad I had was very good! Gaby was the bartender/ waitress and she was so sweet and nice! I had Great customer service and will definitely plan on staying and eating here again!

cwilli702, I'm very sorry you encountered all of these issues during your stay. Our guest's safety is always our top priority at our hotel. If our associates are not aware of who a guest is, our hotel will always ask for identification. As you stated, you have stayed at our hotel often, but not all of our associates may have encountered you during your stays. This is the reason why our Night Auditor asked for identification. I'm very sorry the night auditor called and woke up your wife and son during the verification. The call was to make sure your husband was authorized to enter the room since his name was not on the reservation. If the interaction during all of this was rude and not the best service possible, I am very sorry as this should never be expected at our hotel. I'll be forwarding your comments on to our Rooms Operations Manager. We totally understand your frustration during your stay and we are very sorry your last stay was not as good as the previous 5 stays. We take great pride in our customer service and we are sorry we did not provide you with the award-winning service you have seen in previous stays. We truly hope we get the chance to make it up to you the next time you are near Midway.

I've not stayed for the marathon, but I assume it starts downtown. There is a shuttle to the airport from the hotel center every 20 minutes. From the airport you can easily take the el downtown.

Hello, This really depends on the amount of traffic that is happening at the time, especially if you are attending a game/concert. I would estimate driving to the United Center with traffic will take about 45 minutes.
