My daughter was moving to Chicago for her new job after graduating from College in May. We decided to stay at the Fairmont because its location was so convenient to her new apartment near Millenium Park. Actually, one of the views from our 14th floor suite was of Millenium Park ... just a 5 minute walk from the Fairmont. Our...

This hotel has a great location close to Michigan Ave shopping and restaurants. Also a short walk to the river for our Chicago Architecture Boat Tour. Millinnium Park (home of "The Bean") is also an easy walk away. The housekeeping staff is excellent. Our room was always fresh and clean when we returned after a day or evening out. We...

Had a delightful 4 night stay. Our room faced the park. From the time we were welcomed to the hotel by the doormen, to the front desk staff who recognized us as being in the President's Club, to everyone we encountered at The Fairmont, we were made to feel that our visit mattered. We had a wonderful dinner in Aria...

We stayed in a suite on the 21st floor for a recent visit to Chicago. Our room was large, graciously furnished with a spectacularly comfortable bed and the most incredible view out over Millennium Park. The hotel staff were consistently friendly and helpful. We will return here for sure!

We were at the hotel for the Fourth of July concerts by The Grateful Dead. We have stayed here before and love the hotel. Our room this time wasn't getting cold, so Tony came right up and worked on it. He got it fixed in no time and he was a pleasure to talk to also. He's been at the...

The room was nicely appointed, though quite odd in configuration. The door opens to a long hallway to the left and a bathroom straight ahead. The bed and desk were a relatively long walk from the bathroom considering the size of the room. Wasn't ideal in the middle of the night, but that this is my only real complain. The...

The room was too expensive. Its interior was a bit old and needs some refurbishment. There were very obvious traces of use on the furniture (e.g. cracks in the couch, defective light bulb at one of the bedside lamps), which I do not accept at a hotel of the first rate. Also, while the bathroom was very clean and satisfactory,...
