Good location. 2 blocks to lake and all parks and festivals less than a mile walking distance. Great free breakfast, roomie rooms, people of all ages stay here. Staff very above average friendly and helpful, facility very clean, lots of activities planned!

Had a flight get cancelled and decided to stay here and meet a few people instead of a hotel. Super friendly staff, clean dorms, and awesome layout. Walking distance to pretty much everything. Will definitely be back next time I am in Chicago!More

There are private rooms, but I didn't stay in one, so I'm not sure if it is still a shared bathroom. There are shared bathrooms for each area of suites, so it is just across the hall and not a lot of people using each one.

I caught a train to a station near by and then walked. you should be able to find what train to catch from google maps :)
