I took the kids down to Chicago recently as they had never been. Great location for shopping and visiting the navy pier. Dinner at the top of the John Hancock building is a must. The staff were wonderful with the kids, and it was nice to unwind at the spa. Despite the great options for dinner in Chicago, we enjoyed...

Four seasons Chicago is a lovely hotel just off Michigan Avenue. Close to shopping, restaurants and the lake. Nice clean rooms with turn down service, of course. Prompt valet parking. The pool and exercise room are nice but the pool can be noisy at times as many families stay here due to the proximity to the Amercan Girl's store. There...

As usual, the Four Seasons Chicago didn't disappoint. The service was impeccable and every member of the staff went out of their way to make the experience great. As an example, the house car was offered to take us to our destination on two occasions when we requested a cab. Everyone at the hotel seemed to remember our name (I...

I’ve stayed at every 5 star hotel in Chicago for work and Four Seasons is by far #1. The rooms are magnificent and the service is amazing! The staff there goes above and beyond to tend to the guests. The price is also reasonable versus other luxury hotels (5 star and 4 star).

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighbourhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
