I've stayed at the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel two times. The first time we were in a room overlooking Millenium Park. The high ceilings and natural light were wonderful and you can't ask for a much better view. The second visit we had a small window overlooking an alley. The room was nice but very dark even with all of...

We really enjoyed our time not only in Chicago but also at the Chicago athletic club. The door man Kay was great I would recommend any to ask for his recommendations and directions. We will use them again if we go back to Chicago.

The staff was very rude and unprofessional upon arrival. I had called down to the front desk after check in and requested for my luggage to be brought upstairs. The front desk staff was very rude and short with me.

Favorite hotel in Chicago! I wouldn't stay anywhere else! The front desk, in room dining and concierge staff exceeded my expectations. I visited the fitness center daily and it is probably the best fitness center in any hotel I've visited. I'll always stay at CAA!

We booked the Millennium King (on the 10th floor), and at first things seemed promising (nice view of the "bean"), but we just could not adjust. The room was probably the biggest room I've ever stayed in - and for once, that's not a compliment. With only two windows (it could have easily accommodated another 4-5), and a handful of...

Pictures truly don't do this hotel justice - there's nothing like CAA and you truly have to stay there to get the true experience and story of the building. From check in to check out, everything was amazing - especially the restaurants. Be warned - with shake shack available until late night for room service...it gets real tempting but you...

I have to say I loved the style of this hotel as it had it's own old school Chicago touch that made it stand out from the rest. When you enter into this hotel, especially in the main lobby it's like entering into a part of history and you are waiting for Jay Gatsby to enter the room! I love...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Inside these warmly elegant quarters you will find a design aesthetic inspired by the athletic heritage of the building-yet with thoroughly contemporary amenities throughout. A sense of play is alive here, as well, in divining which artifacts are vintage and which are new-something to ponder as the crystal glasses and cocktail carafe beckon a good, icy stir. Victorian-inspired lighting, brass fixtures and ironwork recall Chicago's industrial heritage, while wooden gym ladders, smartly reimagined as a storage wall, are as likely to hold a flask as a vintage self-improvement manual. ... more   less
