Not a place to stay if you are allergic to cigarette smoke. The rooms have standard business traveler amenities (prell shampoo / conditioner and soap, keurig coffee pot, microwave, mini fridge). The location is convenient for business travel in the loop, which is really what you're paying for. They do have a great breakfast as well, which includes eggs, sausage,...

The staff was very friendly and helpful answering all of our questions about where to eat, what to do, etc. The rooms were standard hotel rooms - but were very clean (and had a Keurig!). We were able to walk to and from Union Station and many other attractions including the Sears Tower within a few minutes. The free breakfast...

Pros: Attractive lobby, attentive staff, efficient check-in, help with luggage. Room quite attractive with panels at windows rather than curtains, the most comfortable beds of our 3-week trip, enormous bathroom, extensive breakfast with pretty much everything you could want, servers for the hot dishes, plenty of waffle makers and toasters. Cons: Only one chair in the room, at the desk...

We chose this hotel because it was within a block of the Lyric Opera, where we were attending two performances. It is by no means an outstanding hotel, but it meets all reasonable requirements at a reasonable price. Our room was quiet, clean and of a good size, the bed was good, the bathroom was well-appointed, internet access was gratis,...

The hotel was great! But this survey is much too long. Just ask one question: Would you recommend this hotel to friends and co-workers? If the answer is yes, you know you are doing a great job. If the answer is no, well...

This is a very good choice for travelers who have high expectations and are price conscious. First, the hotel is one block from the L so it's easy to get around the downtown area and to the Midway Airport. The free breakfast offered a full array of choices, served in an spacious eating area. My room was accessible to people...

We arrived by train from Mi with my granddaughter to celebrate her 21st Birthday....it is perfect for being close to everything and it convenient to walk to most places and quick walk from train station....*we did take a Cab to Rush street but took the Blue Line for next to nothing to surprise her with her Marine boyfriend from CA...

La Quinta is always decent if not outstanding. This hotel suffers from small problems (HVAC noise, failure to replenish bathroom supplies and refill vending machine). Breakfast is sub-standard for this price level. Otherwise La Quinta is a good choice if you want to be withing walking distance of Chicago Opera and other downtown attractions.

If you are staying in the LOOP, this is the place to stay. I'm here are part of training, so I have a hotel room and a meeting room booked. The staff, especially Tim has gone above and beyond to make this a fantastic event. The best free breakfast at any hotel I have ever stayed at. The Ladies in...
