This hotel is exceptional in every way. The service is full spectrum, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the attention to detail perfect. The location is central to everything you want to see and do in Chicago. And the bed is the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in! Luxurious setting.

Great location and staff. My W insider, Laurelin, reached out to me a couple of days before my trip and asked if she could help with any dinner reservations. Within 24 hours we had dinner reservations at some of Chicago's finest restaurants, which I could not get reservations for. We also managed to get priority seating in the ones that...

WOW! We are so proud Laurelin could grant you insider access during your time in Chicago. She sure does know the best spots in the city and is a champion for sharing them with our guests such as you. As a visitor it can be overwhelming with all of the options Chicago has to offer - especially when you have...

Great location & friendly staff. Did not enjoy the dog barking in the room next to me, so I switched rooms without a problem. The room I got switched into was twice the size as the original room! The breakfast in the restaurant was decent. I would stay here again.

We apologize for the disruption of the barking dog during your time with us. While we do love welcoming pets we definitely want to make sure all of our guests are comfortable. We are happy we could find you a cozy and quiet room and are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the other aspects of your stay. We look...

The best of the hotel in the rooms (I’ve got an upgrade and the room was not a suite but still very big), the outstanding concierge service and in the W atmosphere. Location is very good as well, 3-4 blocks from the Millennium Park. I did not visit the SPA/pool

I checked in late and had to wait in the lobby for 15 minutes before I seen anyone who could park my car or check me in. The room was the smallest I have ever been in, in my entire life and while it was decorated nicely, and had a very comfortable bed, the windows faced a brick wall and...

Thank you for giving us the chance to understand your frustrations with your recent stay with us. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the comforts and decor of the room but were not inspired by the size. We are so sorry this affected the tone of your stay, and invite you to give us another try. If you...

Stayed in the city one night only for a Blackhawks game. This location was convenient to the United Center. Have never stayed at a W hotel before, but have stayed in the Starwood group of hotels. Our time was very limited at the hotel, but while we were there, it was delightful. Very modern décor and feel. Erwin checked us...

A very nice hotel. It doesn't give a look of a huge hotel with all the high rises in the chicago loop area, but it is a nice hotel. It is a steal if you can book it on few online sites. The only problem is that you will not be sure that you will get the same hotel 'cause...

I was solo tourist in Chicago for about 24 hours, just enough time to catch a play and a Cubs game before jumping on a train to Milwaukee for a conference. Because of this small window of time, location was very, very important to me. I picked this hotel because of it's close proximity to the Bank of America Theater...

I've stayed at the W City Center on several occasions. As a Starwood Platinum member, they have always honored my upgrade request and even, on occasion, upgraded me to a suite. The hotel did go through a renovation several years ago, and it was definately needed. While the regular rooms are small, its worth it to ask for a complimentary...

First may we thank you for your loyalty as a Starwood Preferred Guest! We value your dedication to not just the W Brand, but to Starwood's portfolio of properties. That's a lot of trips to become Platinum! We did indeed renovate the property inside and out in late 2010 - thank you for giving the design your stamp of approval!...

This property has declined substantially over the past few years. Rooms were always terribly small (with a few exceptions). Staff is nice enough, but management is not investing: two nights in a row the room service was out of 2-3 items (and a quite limited room service menue to start). TV satellite went out for a period two nights in...

“The room that I got was on the 19th floor and it's slightly annoying that you have to remember to have your key card out in the elevator in order to select the floor. The room I had felt a little sterile and the sheets were less than fluffy but I was not there long enough for this to be an issue. The amenities are great at the W - the hand lotion feels more like bee's wax but maybe that's a good thing when it's 12 degrees outside. ”
