Due to a problem with our reservation, Tom Root upgraded us to the Presidential Suite. The room was perfect for a family of 5 which included 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths with lake and city views. The room, like all reservations, also included breakfast with a made to order omelet station and an evening reception with snacks and cocktails.

Nice clean hotel with lots of amenities. Close to the pier, shopping and a quick bus ride to the most of the museums and other attractions. The hot breakfast is quite good as is the afternoon happy hour. We will definitely be back.

This worked out great for us. My daughter and I are very early risers so we were able to go to the main room and let her son sleep in the bedroom. We had a corner suite so were able to view the city a little. We were able to park the car and walk to most of the places...

This hotel has a good location with easy parking. I love the complimentary happy hour the Ebassay suites put on even in Chicago. Nothing seems complimentary in Chicago except here. Also has some great resturants close by. My only complaint is the noise. It can be very noisy from the lobby area.

The room was great and the view was good too. The only thing I was upset with on this stay was that...

We stayed in this hotel for three nights. We had excellent service at the desk and the hotel bar and during the free breakfast. Everything was clean and we enjoyed the view from our room and the elevator area.

Saber at the valet made a great first impression. Dianah at the front desk was very accomodating and deserves a raise. Her supervisor however does not, For a supervisor she was not nice. Tim from concierge was very helpful. Nice size rooms. Sitting area has a nice table/chairs and roomy couch. Here are some suggestions for changes. Limit your number...

I attended a conference in this hotel and it was well-done. With the free breakfast and reception it was a very good place to mingle. The accommodations were typical for Embassy Suites, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. Just a few blocks from Lake Michigan and the Navy Pier.

Pros: As others have mentioned, the location is convenient for walking and sightseeing. There is less street noise than some hotels in the area. If you want food from Whole Foods, it is directly across the street. The suite was clean although the microwave had food crumbs left in it from previous occupant. Sons slept in king bed and mom...

Staying in Streeterville

Neighbourhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
