We loved our stay here!! Probably the coolest place I've ever stayed. Super clean and comfortable. The room was gorgeous, with excellent facilities. A little loud down below, but they are very transparent about that, so we expected it, and it didn't bother us. We...More
Logan Square is the Williamsburg (Brooklyn) of Chicago, without ugly new construction. Best of all are the restaurants and cafes, and among these, Longman and Eagle stands out. The food is fresh and delicious, is moderately priced and the place is relaxed and cool. Can't...More
We had a great experience here. Three of us went to dinner there and we went before 5 to enjoy the happy hour. All of our cocktails were great- Cloud City, Whiskey Sour and Desert Sunset Margarita. Blood was very innovative and tasty. We ordered...More
The food was absolutely amazing. I had the pigs head and gnocchi. A bit too much food for one person, but I'm glad I got both. I had a great server. He was knowledgable and helped me choose great dishes, however I don't think you...More

I would say that it's a good 15-20 min can ride and taxis readily available (standard or Über....I generally use Über); also the Logan Square blue line "L" stop is conveniently located across the street from L&E. You're robably unlikely to get a room there over the weekend without 2 months advance planning. Given the charm and affordable nature of this inn it books up quickly. The beds are not that large nor are the rooms except for the largest and most expensive one; think European inn here. The L&E website provides great descriptions of each of the 6 rooms.

"Room 04 is more spacious than room 13, and has the better light and view, but also a bit noisier."
