Can't beat the location. Across from the river walk, trains, water rides and bus tours. Perfect. The hotel is older, but historical - and clean. The room was clean too. I agree with other reviews, the rooms are small. We got a deluxe room with a "kitchenette" - a mini-frig and microwave. The pullout couch took up the entire common...

We had a girl's weekend in Chicago for 7. Lovely rooms, they we're small but accommodated us well with a pull out couch in each of our rooms. the pull out couches were very comfortable. all the staff were very friendly, we could check our bags in when we arrived and headed out in the city since we arrived early...

We had a great experience at River Hotel. Due to airline issues, we arrived at 1:00 am, and they held our room for us and even gave us a river view at our request upon arrival. They gave us restaurant recommendations and helped out with getting around. We never felt like our questions were bothering them or they were too...

The River Hotel is on the Chicago river and close to everything. The hop on hop off bus can be had right outside the doors. The restaurant and patio bar is excellent. Room was not large but very nicely decorated and the comforter on the bad was marvelous. Bed was very comfy.2nd floor always had snacks 24 -7 such as...

This Hotel is on the Riverwalk and a block away from the Magnificent Mile. Walking distance to Navy Pier and Millennium Park. Surrounded by restaurants and shopping. The staff, especially Amy, was extremely accommodating and exceeded expectations. The room was very large and the kitchen was a bonus! We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway at the Club Quarters/River Hotel.

After a horrible Airbnb experience, I found this reasonably-priced hotel on Booking or Hotels.com. Extremely well-located and very friendly and accommodating staff. The BigBus Chicago stop is right in front of the hotel, the cruises are across the bridge, you have a McCormick and Schmick, the Tavern on the park and Eataly within 15-walking distance.. And State street and Michigan...

Lovely clean rooms , we were on the 22nd floor with views of the river. Although we only stayed for 2 nights it was part of a tour so found the room a bit small for all our luggage. Ideal for a short stay, all the usual facilities and a small friendly restaurant on site. Staff helpful and efficient. Washing...

The River Hotel is on the riverfront immediately opposite Trump Tower. It is walking distance to all the major attractions. Because it is a narrow building, it has a modest reception area and lobby, but guests can relax on the second floor in a spacious guest lounge with complimentary refreshments and newspapers. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to...

Nothing to write home about. Lots of little problems. A broken elevator for the first 48 hours, so one elevator for 41 floors. A room that stayed hot (72-74) no matter what temperature you set. A "continental breakfast" that was granola bars, apples and terrible coffee. There were bananas, but the first two mornings a couple of older couples walked...
