I really enjoyed my stay at The River Hotel! It had a great location. Our room overlooked the Chicago River and we were directly across from Trump Tower. Very cool. The hotel was also within walking distance to almost everything we wanted to do (Millenium Park, Shedd aquarium, the Field Museum, Magnificent Mile, food, etc.). One of my favorite features...

Stayed here for valentines day weekend. Hotel was nice however our room did not have a view. TV was tiny. Staff was helpful and polite. Overall an OK place to stay in Chicago. It is actually a part of the club quarters hotel.

The hotel is in a great location 1 block off of Michigan Ave. Perfect spot for watching the river turn green for St Patty's Day. The turn off is the rooms are very small, and steel workers worked right outside our window at 7 am on Saturday and Sunday morning. Also the parking is validated by the hotel but no...

The hotel itself was nice. But apparently, they can't have heating and cooling on at the same time due to how old the hotel is. (This is what we were told when we called the front desk to ask how to turn the air on.) When we asked for a fan, they brought up a desk sized fan for the...

Very affordable, great restaurant in the hotel and location was ideal. Within walking distance of shopping, restaurants and millennium park. Beautiful views and across the street from the river. Staff was very helpful, nice and informative. Fully recommend making use of water taxis if you are there during the warm months, helpful for reaching other areas that are farther!

This hotel is lodged among a bunch of ritzy, bougoise-style, rich visitors of Chicago. However, here, you get the unique blend of upscale quality as well as the personability of a mom and pop bed and breakfast. Perhaps, that was the result of our excellent hotel management employee, who seems to be there at all times: day and night. Pedro,...

We were staying in Chicago for a conference at the Hyatt Regency and chose the River Hotel for a better price (much better price). We were very pleased with the location, service, cleanliness, comfort, and ease of the River Hotel. The elevators were always available, the 2nd floor common area was very convenient. The purified water bottles at our disposal...

Convenient location from Millenium Station and to all the highlights of Michigan Avenue, restaurants, and museums. Rooms were small but clean. The bed was comfy, and when I called the front desk to ask for a couple additional pillows we received them quickly. Restaurant in the hotel lobby served a good breakfast at a pretty good price with great service....
