This hostel was even better then some 5 star hotels I have stayed in. Staff and accommodations all excellent. The location is very convenient to everything. I would most definitely return in the future.

- rooms are average quality - i would not recommend staying here in winter - you probably wont get good sleep due to noises coming from above (crackling noise from floor of people walking) - staff is not friendly at all and can be condescending and unattentive - flight of stairs is too steep - so think long n hard...

Was most surprised by how cozy the temperatures were. Frigid winter outside, nice and toasty inside. Staff was pleasant. Staying in a hostel is always an interesting experience. Got to meet someone from NYC, and from Japan.

Wicker Park is a really awesome neighborhood, and everything you'd want in the area is such a short walk away-restaurants, shops, and the L are so close! The Loop is extremely close too, so it's a fantastic location I think because I liked staying in this renovated neighborhood more than I would have liked staying in the loop. Also, rooms...

Wicker Park was my favourite neighbourhood. Hostel was clean, staff friendly, everything was great. I had an entire 8 bed dorm to myself, which I thought was unusual, but I enjoyed. My room had a couch, a fridge, a full bathroom in it. Felt like a hotel!

Good location, close to the metro line, short ride to the Chicago downtown. Good value for the cost. Comfortable stay in an interesting neighbourhood, Wicker Park. Lots of good coffee shops, restaurants, and bars.

Very good location. Within walking distance of train and many stores and restaurants. If you're traveling by yourself it's a great value. Our family of five reserved a five-person room; full-size bed with two bunks and they gave it to someone else before we got there at 3:30.
