Visited here through the affiliation with another club in California and was not disappointed. The service, rooms, and location where perfect for a weekend trip to The Windy City. You will not be disappointed.

Historical Club with historical rules....dressed for the Dining Room, no coats allowed in the Bar or Restaurant. Staff is friendly; however, general atmosphere is a little "stuffy". Hotel rooms have been updated, but lack modern amenities such as convenient & multiple electrical

Overall an excellent experience. The building is amazing... so much character, charm, and history and the art! The food was quite good and the waitstaff did very well considering the size of our party. Polite, helpful and professional staff all around. Surprising.

We stayed here as guests of a member, though you no longer need to be a member to stay here, and we fell in love with the architecture and the ambience. The staff was superb and food matched the staff. Certainly the rooms are a little small, but it is, I suppose, part of the cha

Hi, Laurel. What would you like to know about this accommodation? Does one have to be a member to walk into the lobby? I was here in 1970 for an office Christmas party when there was a "Ladies' entrance" off to the side and a "Ladies elevator" that only went to certain floors. I'll be visiting Chicago in a few weeks and I'd like to revisit my memories of working downtown as a secretary, as I'm working on a memoir. Bottom line: Can I walk through the front door during business hours in my nice pantsuit and have a look-see?
Hi Laurel, Long gone are the days of separate entrances and elevators. We've also updated our dress code quite a bit. However, we do still remain a private club. If you would let me know when you will be visiting, I can work out a time to show you around. Thank you, Jared Wike Director of Marketing & Communications

"May want suite for additional square footage."
"The rooms we saw seemed fine."
"Choose a room on a high floor. I didn't hear any of the noise other people have talked about."
