I figured since I was travelling by myself, no lady to impress, I'd try staying at a budget hotel out of the city a bit, within easy reach of the EL. It's about 3 blocks to the Orange Line of the CTA. Having to cross Pulaski can be a bit dangerous, especially with all the idiotic Illinois drivers that don't...

My husband and I found this hotel through a travel site, it was listed as a comfort inn and with a different picture, imagine my disgust when the address led us to this!! From the time we walked in I wanted to leave. We got to our room and although we were very tired I refused to take off my...

When I arrived at the nearby airport and called for a ride, the gentleman that came for me was prompt and courteous. He was not only the courtesy driver, but also the front desk manager and provided quality service in the busy motel that evening. The morning person provided misinformation to private driver the following day, as I entered the...

I read a lot of reviews of this place that were bad, but it still had 4 1/2 stars so I figured i must just be reading the bad ones. The pictures showed an older remodled motel, that looked ok. The amenities included free wi-fi, free contentinal breakfast and a jaccuzi. When I got there, It was in the middle...

We went to Chicago on a budget and the Midway Inn fit. Yes, it could have been cleaner and more up to date BUT I didn't go to Chicago to sit in a hotel. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful and the location was great, it's a short walk to the train and bus that will take you downtown...

I stayed at this hotel but I was very disatified with the accomodations. I witnessed a broken window. The window had been repaired just by placing something like plexie glass over it. As for the room I stayed in, there was broken tile on the bathroom floor, the shower head worked poorly, the towel racks were broken, and the carpet on...

This is without a dirt the nastiest hotel/motel/inn that I have ever stayed in. Fist of all, when walking in, you can taste the cancer in the air! (That is how thick the smell of cigarette smoke is!) I should have known not to stay there when after checking in, the worker gave me the key to my room AND...

As the title, this hotel will make you feel that. the first dissatisfaction you will face when you first open a room in this hotel is its smell. However, what would you expect from a little pay? For me, this is my first and last for this hotel. Pay more for the better experience!
