I stayed in the room with private balcony overlooking the water tower. The hotel is generally great and nomi restaurant serves very fine food. However, I feel like its getting to a point that it is in need of a refurb. The carpet in rooms have some permanent staining from years of wear and I could not even watch the...

We have stayed at several hotels in Chicago but the Park Hyatt is all around one of the best. Great location, outstanding warm friendly service and clean comfortable rooms. The Bellmen remember names and are always warm and welcoming. Front desk and concierge, very helpful. We had a beautiful spacious suite that looked out toward the lake and Water Tower....

The hotel is excellently located; service is good everywhere - and the room was large with very good housekeeping services. The concierge was super helpful as was the Reception; so were the doormen. Couldnt fault them at all.

Rooms are spacious for the city. Absolutely spotless and with plenty of amenities. The only negatives were the relatively slow elevators, and that there weren't more of them (only two). The conference space was nice as well.

I booked online through World of Hyatt account. All emails contained my account number. But when I checked in I was told my account was closed. Nobody at Hyatt knows how to reinstate my Account & points. Why would I go back to a premium property when my account is treated so poorly.

Everything good. Staff polite, relaxed, helpful. Room was neat and clean. Food and drinks at bar were exceptional. Hint: we like a little of everything so we got one plate for each choice and shared. Also, a great location. It's pricey, but we always ignore that and go back.

This was my second visit to the Park Hyatt Chicago and it definitely won’t be my last. My first visit for a long weekend this past October. This property is the perfect location for a weekend in the Windy City. The staff is very responsive to World of Hyatt members and treats their Globalist guests wonderfully. It was raining buckets...

We just sold our condo on Lake Shore so we are trying out hotels when we go to the city now. We like the hotel and the location and will likely stay here again partly because it is in an area we use for our playground in Chicago.

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighbourhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
