I felt really comfortable as a Black woman attending this hotel with my White husband during all the racial tension. The staff made us feel very comfortable and welcome and provided us with the best services possible. So thank you for your level of professionalism.

Our family of four stayed the weekend before thanksgiving for a wedding (perfect to see the festival of lights). We booked a king bed "family room"- very spacious room; sofa bed was a good size for our 2 pre-teen girls, but probably would feel a bit small for 2 adults. Breakfast buffet underwhelming (just walk to Hendrixx bakery for great...

I travel often, and just spent 5 glorious days at the Drake Hotel. 9th Floor Suite overlooking the lake (Ask for room 929 and 930) This hotel is as great as it was in 1920, and has all the modern high tech amenities just like the uber sterile hotels have. Except what hotels like the TRUMP (gag) DO NOT have,...

Hard to be the Drake. Great location. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping. I'm a runner and it's only a few steps to the lake which has a terrific trail to run on. Room was great. Comfortable beds. The only small complaint I have is that it's hard to walk through the halls and not see old room service trays...

We reserved a King Bed Deluxe room. We were given room 746, a lovely room with a view of Lake Michigan. However, the bed was NOT a king-sized bed. It didn't even appear to be a queen-sized bed. Because the room was so lovely, we decided to try sleeping in the smaller bed. But I was unable to sleep, partly...

The Drake is a true gem, it's an old hotel with old world charm. Has all the modern things that everyone expects now like wifi but still has the hot water radiator in the room with a slight gurgle and the well dressed bellmen. The customer base seems to appreciate the finer things and the Drake delivers without it being...

We liked the hotel and would stay again. The rooms are a little dated but the service the staff were top notch. We loved the bar with live music. The location just off Michigan Avenue - great for shopping and seeing Chicago.

Just walking in you feel the like you have gone back to a 1930's classy hotel. The room was very nice the bed and bedding very comfortable. Very clean service was wonderful. Several places to dine or have a cocktail. It was snowing one of the days we stayed in and had drinks and lunch very tasty. Very reasonable at...
