doesn't everyone want to stay in a castle? staff was friendly and accomodating, rooms very clean, fun to roam around the castle and grounds. Not so easy to find with our GPS, but Waze got us there and perhaps the coordinates would have worked...easy to base from and see other areas and come back for the night...

Myself and my Fiance stayed here for 2 nights. Absolutely loved it. All of the staff were just so lovely. The castle itself and the grounds are worth visiting itself. It's stunning. We spent the first night at the bar and a young gentleman named Harry really looked after us and made our night. We spent the next day in... More

40 of us stayed the night before a family wedding all staying two nights. Rooms very traditional but good quality. Not a light out of place. Beautiful. Had a light meal very good and good value. I cannot say one bad thing regarding this. And I believe they are on their way for the 5th star. Went and got treatments... More

Had a very nice time here but the highlight was definitely the leisure centre and the thermal suite. The man on the leisure centre desk could not have been more obliging and helpful. The thermal suite was amazing so relaxing and the jets gave very muscle in my body a deep massage. The room was big and the bed comfortable.... More

When we arrived we were greeted by Ann Marie at the desk who was lovely and then informed by our son it was his birthday. With no hesitation she rang the kitchen and organised a desert plate to be... We enjoyed our stay but I think I was expecting more. It honestly felt as if they were trying too hard with the decor, it just didn't feel authentic. The food was amazing if a little expensive. The surroundings are amazing and only 20 mins from Carrick-on-Shannon. The room was amazing and the bed was very very comfortable. I would... More
