Well, another good stay at a forward thinking hotel. Bar and restaurant is open! They found a way to work within the “social distancing” and still serve the guests with quality food & beverages. The room was clean, plenty of outlets for the tech, the A/C worked well. The carpet does show some wear. The elevators worked rather fast which is nice. Plenty of parking. The shuttle runs every 30 min to the airport for drop offs, however, one must call to be picked up and man that’s a pain, due to where they are allowed to pick you up, you have to go under and through the tunnel to the other side of the Hilton. Then out side at door # 2. It’ll take about 20 minutes to get to the pick up point from baggage claim. The staff is very good. The entry door being locked all the time is some what a pain, however I’d rather have it that way vs open for all to just walk on in in today’s world. I’ll be back! …
I was traveling on business to Chicago and needed a convient hotel located near O'Hare. I am a Hilton Honors Gold members and this hotel did not disappoint. I only stays one night but the service was great, rooms were cleans, and the bar tenders were awesome! What else can you ask for on a business trip?
Another Great Stay was had at this Hilton Garden Inn. Plain And Simple, The Hotel Staff are friendly, The hotel and rooms are very clean, The free shuttle bus to the airport and/or the Blue line make this location a winner. Fresh, Hot (free!) Coffee in the lobby every morning is also a nice perk.Plenty of restaurant options nearby, as well as near Rivers Casino. All around, a Very Good hotel up to Hilton standards at a very decent price for the Chicago area. Overall Rating ~ Very Good.
I stayed here for two weeks on business. The bed was possibly the most comfortable one I've had at a hotel, and the room stayed temperature-controlled without hearing the radiator go on and off all night. I'm not a fan of hotels charging paying guests for parking, and I would have stayed somewhere else if I knew that I didn't get complementary breakfast at $210/night, but I enjoyed my stay. The common areas and room were clean, and the staff were friendly and professional.
The hotel is very clean. The staff is very friendly. Parking is good. They even have an outdoor heated smoking area. The only issue we had was the casino shuttle stops at 10PM. Since we arrived at 8, we ended up driving there but it's just down the street so it wasn't a big deal. Food is a bit expensive so we ate elsewhere.
