I visited Hatherley Manor based on a recommendation from a Gloucestershire newspaper. I was disappointed. The claim that the food was sourced locally and was fresh. If it was, I didn't notice. It was very quiet - so not much atmosphere although my boyfriend loved the 80s music that was the soundtrack to our meal! We waited 10 mins to...

Excellent hotel in good location near M5. All staff consistently friendly and helpful. Food superb with good range of choices. Cosy bar area with log fire. A perfect winter retreat and I would imagine the grounds are a big attraction in the summer Room was comfortable with best pillows I have used in a long long time. Really impressed with...

We attended a function here, the food was very good and the staff were excellent. The beer is pricey though, but that is probably due to the surroundings which are very nice, the building itself is well maintained which is nice to see with old building converted into hotels.

Excellent way to see in the new year. Very popular. Well organised. Good quality food. Large tables made for good new friendships. Enjoyable free gaming tables and good disco / dancing into the new year.

My husband and I spent Christmas at Hatherley Manor Hotel, from 24th to 26th. December and had a delightful time. Our room was not large, but adequate, warm and very comfortable, although we did feel it could do with an update. We booked somewhat late, so I suspect we would have had no choice of room and the view was...

We attended a club night for the Rolling Hills Harley group on New Years Eve. There were two other functions on including a large wedding and I was very impressed that the staff managed to cope with all this without seeing overwhelmed. We stayed in a classic room which was fine for a night and the breakfast was good allowing...

The service did not meet 4 star surroundings. Very 'economically' sized portions with main course fully plated and minimal. Party of 6 and one main course delayed, presumed forgotten! A la carte grill dish of dried salmon & prawn skewers accompanied by nominal chips (soft), 2 cherry tomatoes and a small chestnut mushroom !! for £20!! Lack of attention, hospitality,...
