Visited here for the last August Bank holiday and stayed for two nights using a Groupon voucher. On arrival the hotel looks impressive with plenty of parking. Despite the fact that it is not far from junction 10 of the motorway it is set in a peaceful area too. We were given a nice room but there was a constant...

Visited as a guest at a wedding anniversary celebration. Slightly strange collection of buildings with an old(ish) heart. Our room was of reasonable size, modern and comfortable though the hot water flow to the shower and bath was barely a trickle. I am surprised that this has not been corrected long ago whether it is a pipe issue or a...

We heard Hatherley had recently become upgraded to a 4 Star Hotel so we definitely wanted to stay and see all the refurbishments. The 4 star standards were on show as soon as you arrive in the hotel and it is clear to see how all the staff are working hard to really look after you and offer a memorable...

We spent a night over the bank holiday weekend on a bed and breakfast basis. Was allocated room 105, double executive room on the ground floor. But after a couple of hours, we were just about to use the ensuite facilities before going out for dinner to find the bathroom filled with sand flies. We were moved to a room...

This is Fawlty Towers without the humour. The website gives a misleading impression of quality and service. The hotel’s main purpose seems to be either as a wedding factory or for bulk deal over-night coach parties. Anybody else trying to stay here, beware: you will be put at the bottom of the pile. We travel a lot, both in the...

On occasions we get things wrong and clearly in relation to Janefairfax39s Stay things were not perfect. When this happens we do apologise and we do go out of our way to try and put in right. On this occasion The main issue with the room was caused by our reception team trying to be helpful and offer Jaynefairfax39 help...

The hotel, upon arrival, has beautiful grounds and the reception staff are very friendly and attentive! So much so that it almost tricks you into thinking the rooms "aren't that bad" but they are showing signs of age and could do with a fresh lick of paint and perhaps an investment into some new bedding. All of this is fine...

I did try to contact Londonbuttons with a private TA message to get more information in relation to when they stayed but sadly never recieved a response. I have mentioned in a previous response about the Bar staff and how sometimes you can employ the wrong person which clearly we managed to do, generally though i think you will find...

Tired looking hotel, terrible customer service, especially the bar staff. Also a member of staff during breakfast was very rude when we made a comment on something she said. Bathrooms were nice (looked recently recently renovated), but some areas could do with some updating. Mother in law had a burn Mark on the floor and chipped paint on walls.

Good location within an easy drive of Gloucester and Cheltenham. Room was comfortable and had a good range of accessories. However with rather dark décor and poor lighting it was very gloomy. Bar service was poor - we gave up waiting after about 10 minutes which the barman spent running in and out for the ingredients for a previous customer's...
