Do not trust the reservation "process" at this campground. I had made reservations a couple months in advance, for one night each on a trip out and back. Arrived late the first night and had no site held for us. Called the day before our planned stay on the way back and was assured we had a site reserved for...

Very nice wooded campground at the edge of Effingham. Normally $40 a night would be way too much for us to ever think of paying to camp with our little popup camper but a friend was able to get us a discount so we only had to pay $25 a night. We spent two nights and enjoyed our time there....

When advertised as having cable...and they don't. You tend to be a bit disappointed. When you go to take a shower at 5:00 in the evening and there is no hot water...again disappointment. The setting is very nice and if it hadn't been a rainy evening the lack of cable would not be a problem.

Nice park by a lake, we came in late, but they had envelopes by office door where you could pick a lot. Bathrooms were clean it had a nice rec room. The grounds were well taken care of. There was a detour to get there, but used the gps and it got us there and there was good signage.

Very nice camp with a beautiful lake. Nicely treed sites. Easy in pull through sites. Laundry clean and reasonable. We will return. Plenty of places to walk the dogs and very good wifi. Gravel roads but plenty of room to swing wide.

This was our first time at this park. It was recommended by family in the area, The campground was well maintained. The bathrooms were clean and thoughtfully laid out. (I liked the decor, simple and up to date.) There was some noise from the interstate but not bad enough to ruin the stay. Pull-through's were very generous, lots of shade,...

If this place had a pool we might have never left. Kaila greeted us with a big smile and shared all kinds of local information with us. Her and her husband Josh, keep the campground running smoothly and very clean. It is just a short distance off of I-57/I-70 so access is easy with signs directing you in, but far...

Wonderful campground. Shady, level, gravel lots, well spaced, quiet and peaceful. FHU pull throughs. Excellent bathrooms, cable was out but wifi was excellent. Private lake, which guests may freely fish. Lovely owners. Wash and wax service available on-site and bar/lounge for guests. Good Sams disc. Wonderful Amish communities within 50 miles for visiting. We camped in a fifth-wheel....and would return.

We were on our way home from a cross country RV trip. We are in our 70's and were traveling with our 15 year old granddaughter. Found this park.....perfect. The spaces were large and clean. Showers exceptionally clean. Checked in after office hours, but it was easy to do. Everything clearly marked. Very close to stores, restaurants, and I-70, I...

Stayed here for 3 months. Everyone is super nice. The campground is quiet. Josh and Kayla are the hosts and they are very friendly. We couldn't get Dish in our spot due to trees so we rented a cable box from the office!! There are washer and dryers available. There are plenty of delivery options for food.
