I stayed in a room with my wife and one of my sons. Both employees are great! Very nice and helpful. Check found my wife's purse (that she left in the dinning room). When we arrived we were asked if we prefer first or second floor. My wife answered "the second floor because of the view". We got a room in the second floor with a "nice" view to a trash can. The first thing I noticed was that there were several dead insects in the bath tub! Then, my wife discovered a bigger insect moving by the ceiling. The breakfast was fine. Location is pretty good. The pool was nice and its water was pretty warm.

Room was clean; Staff was pleasant; A/C worked good; Bed was fine. We were actually very surprised at how quiet it was, knowing there were other Cardinal fans right next door. Yes, it's a good choice when you're in the area for St. Louis baseball. It's right next to the convenience store with the best gas prices we found around there. And it's just a walk across your own parking lot to the Lotawata Grill. That makes you appreciate having a refrigerator and microwave back in your room, too. On the reality check side of things ... I will take my own pillow if we stay there again. The four they provided would not have been enough for one, much less two people. I guess they're down pillows, and that's what they did -- went DOWN flat, almost as thin as a deflated balloon when you put your head down. And, that was undoubtedly the smallest tub/shower enclosure I've ever used, but it was adequate and clean. If you're much over 6', it might be an issue for you, though. Overall, we would stay here again. Other things that held back a 5-star were slow internet and no elevator to the second floor. For this trip, neither of those things was a deal-breaker, though.

My husband & 3 kids stayed here one night on our way home to GA, everything seemed clean & taken care of. Seemed like a good area too. Breakfast was ok, nothing crazy (waffle maker, bagels, bread, cereal, yogurt, apples/bananas & boiled eggs). My only complaints is the beds were very uncomfortable, my husband & I both woke up with our backs hurting & the shower curtain bar stuck out where you couldn’t open the bathroom door all the way which made the bathroom even smaller than it already was. The room was big though.

Stayed the night after being in a storm. Was checked in quickly and given good directions to the room. Hotel smelled and looked clean. Room was big, bed was comfortable and shower had nice pressure. Was located close to several restaurants and shopping. Will stay here again for the price.

During the trip home from Saint Louis we were caught in the winter storm of 2018. The econo lodge is located off the highway. Which was perfect for us due to poor road conditions. Check in was a breeze. Room was clean & warm. This isn’t a luxury resort. We needed safety & shelter which was provided!
