Our trip was a girls weekend and we just happened to stumble across this room. The grounds were very nice and spacious. We were warmly welcomed by bob and were shown a map of the area including our dinning spot. Clean rooms. Spacious bath area. Breakfast is fruit and muffins. Not typical b & b style but we loved it....

We stumbled on Greenbriar earlier this week and can't say enough about the experience. Nestled at the edge of town, it was an easy walk downtown to enjoy dinner at one of the wonderful local supper clubs! In spite of our unannounced arrival (as we were winging it)...Barbara made us feel welcome immediately, and offered us several tips about places...

Stayed one night in the luxury suite. No iron or ironing board in the room, no blow dryer and the continental breakfast was mediocre, all carbs no protein. A bit of cheese or a hstd boiled egg would have been nice. If you are looking for a B & B, don't stay here.

What a nice little place. The owners were very accommodating and pleasant. The rooms were clean and well decorated. The cost was reasonable and well worth the quality of the overall experience. The complimentary breakfast consisted of fresh muffins and assorted fruits. Plenty considering how much you will likely eat throughout the day in town. The only set back is...

Did some research for a one night getaway for my husband and I for our anniversary and found Greenbriar. The customer service on the phone was excellent and was hoping it would be in person. We were pleasantly surprised! We had a very warm welcome and they gave us an excellent idea of what we could do in town. The...

I'd planned an overnight trip for me and three girlfriends. My original lodging reservations fell through and at the last minute, less than two weeks until we were set to leave, I needed to find a place in Galena that would allow four people in one room for one night. Desperate and upset, I called the Galena Tourist Office and...

We stayed here for one night and it was very nice, the owners were very pleasant and the rooms comfortable. But I thought a b&b would serve a full breakfast just like the others we have stayed in this was fruit and muffin and juice. I guess it depends what you're looking for.

Greenbriar has several buildings along Hwy 20 that give you a couple of options. We chose to stay in one of the four suites that are in a converted commercial building. Very convenient parking with just a short walk around the back of the building to the check-in. There are two suites upstairs and two down. When I called to...

Great location in Galena, close to downtown, yet a bit out of the way. Friendly service and very accommodating. Nice rooms! I've stayed here 2 times in the past 2 years and will stay here again next year.

We stayed at the Greenbriar for two nights and were very pleased with our accommodation. It is very convenient to the town and easy to find on arriving in Galena. There is also ample parking. Our room was at the back of one of their buildings and this was definitely an advantage as the trucks roll by all night on...
