My wife and I agreed that I needed to rest for a few days after several tumultuous months of "life." It was the first time in years that I took a vacation alone. With no planning, but wanting to take up fishing and having all new gear, I started googling for a place to get all the awkward lessons learned...

It is hard to put into words the experience(s) I had visiting Armondo at Tierra Linda. My friend Jan had brought me out of isolation and brought me to Tierra Linda, where Armondo was the perfect host; taking care of so many details of preparing a deliscious meal. All the while he is tuned into what is going on. He...

I always enjoy my stay with Armando and da puppies. When I arrived he had a bonfire going and ribs on the grill. Knowing I get cold easily, he put flannel sheets on my bed to keep me extra toasty. The hospitality is always sincere and the food is continuously tasty!

Tierra Linda is a quaint Bed and Breakfast conveniently located not far from Downtown Galena, but also tucked into the countryside. Armando, our host, graciously provided us with the most delicious homemade breakfasts of eggs, fruit, coffee, bacon...and he even made us a delicious dinner one night of ribs cooked over an open bonfire. The beds are so comfortable and...

If you like nature and need some real downtime, TierraLinda is the perfect place. Nothing fancy, but a great place to kick back and really relax. A beautiful 10 plus acres of nature at it's finest. One of the best amenities for us was that we could bring along our two beloved dogs. They had the time of their lives!...

If you want to connect with nature, and just relax, this is the place! We came with our two dogs and we were well taken care of. The host is a bit eccentric and he made us feel at home as soon as we pulled up in our car. The place is a bit off the beaten path, but just...

Me (and my dog) thoroughly enjoyed Tierra Linda and all it's natural beauty. Armando, and his puppies, are very welcoming and friendly. I felt more as if I were visiting family or a friend rather than simply being a guest at a B&B. A very unique experience among the many places I have visited. I recommend highly. A final word:...

TierraLinda was an excellent B&B for both humans and dogs alike. While we humans had a wonderful time walking through the trails, fishing in the pond, sitting on the dock playing games, sitting by the (endless) campfires, I'm sure that our dog had the most fun of all. From the moment we arrived, he was happy as ever running through...

My husband, myself and our puppy just returned from a glorious weekend at Tierra Linda. We have stayed at B&Bs all over the world and have never experienced one as hospitable and relaxing as Tierra Linda. We will no doubt return again and again. Armando was the consumate host, with fantastic suggestions, directions, company and wonderful food. We felt like...

Tierra Linda is definitely a place where you can truly find yourself in a peaceful and tranquil setting. Armando and the puppies are very welcoming and charming. The house is a cozy country decor taking you back in time. It was a truly amazing experience for myself, my 9 year old daughter, 13 year old niece and my dog. It...
