My husband and I stayed in the French Maid's cottage mid-week for our 29th wedding anniversary. We found the cottage to be darling and quaint; the decor was well-done. We enjoyed sitting on the back screened in porch that evening. The package we reserved included dinnner and breakfast. The dinner was delivered to our cottage in a wonderful picnic basket....

My hubby and I were looking to do something fun and different for our 18th anniversary in August. We decided to go with a B&B , and since we both love Galena, I found Irish Hollow thanks to Google and boy am I glad I did. We were amazed beyond words when we got there, it was so much off...

Matthew greeted us in the driveway in 100 degree weather and immediately offered us cold drinks and an upgrade to our accomodations. That and his mentioning that my gluten free Diet was not a problem would have been sufficient to make me happy. Add a beautiful setting, a shower with eight shower heads, delicious breakfasts and a 5 course dinner...

This was a wonderful experience! When we arrived we had booked a room, but Russell, our innkeeper, said "good news, we are upgrading you to one of our cottages. The cottage was breathtaking. Such attention to detail. My wife and I were simply amazed. The amount of detail that went into the decorating was incredible. We then had an incredible...

This was our first time at a bed and breakfast. The setting is beautiful. We stayed two nights at a room in the inn. I must say I was a bit disappointed. We started with the couples massage which we normally love - not worth it because the room was not private enough and they were too rough (even after...

Over the years, we have visited several B&B's in the U.S. and in Ireland. The Inn at Irish Hollow was by far the nicest place we have ever stayed! The cottage was beyond gorgeous. The owners had thought of every possible need and provided for it! The service overall was out of this world! Matthew was just fantastic, answering questions...

We felt as though we were in Paradise when we stayed at the Inn at Irish Hollow. Our dinner and breakfasts were truly memorable. We enjoyed playing the Steinway grand piano, sipping wine on the porch, and walking the trails. Matthew is a gem! We offered to adopt him, but he insisted his place was at the Inn...sigh.

My husband and I were looking for a place to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We are not really "B & B" kind of people, so I was surprised when my husband suggested we consider Irish Hollow. We looked at their cottages online, and decided we would try the French Maids since it would be something new and different than we...
