After reading the bad reviews, I was a bit worried about booking. I booked anyway, mainly for the location and views. I didn’t need to worry as this place is absolutely fantastic. Good value for money. The staff are very attentive and extremely friendly. The cleaners alway said hello with a smile, restaurant staff catered for our every whim. The breakfast was plentiful and of a very good quality. Please ignore the bad reviews. We had a junior suite and it was wonderful. The views are breathtaking from the Junior suite and was at a very reasonable price. Fixtures and fittings are high end and the bed was huge and very comfortable. I didn’t get around to trying the spa facilities, I’ll leave that for the next time I book this wonderful place. I urge you to book, you won’t be disappointed.…
I have previously left excellent reviews for the hotel restaurant. It was always good food and excellent value. Visited in June 2022 for probably the tenth time and it was still excellent. However we visited for lunch today and we were very disappointed. The waiter was surly and seemed to be avoiding doing any work. We ordered a drink and asked for the menu. We had expected in the present economic climate that prices would have increased 10 to 20 per cent, even 30 per cent may have been acceptable. However in the 5 months since our last visit, all the food prices had exactly doubled. I cannot see how this is justified. We didn't order food and had our drinks and left. I noticed very few people had anything to eat, just had a drink. I saw some look at the menu and return it without ordering food. It rather spoilt for us what had been a special place to lunch.…
I know times are tough but there is a lack of investment here and it’s starting to show. For example, I used the driving range and it was terrible: - most of the mats are threadbare - In a bucket of 20 balls, 6 were broken (big chunks missing) and the rest were dirty - the guy driving around picking up the balls from the range took forever - this was because his trolley hardly picked up any balls; it’s clearly useless. This meant he had to go over each area several times (and probably explains the damaged balls). I know the range is cheap but that’s pointless if the facilities are poor. I was considering membership but will now look elsewhere. The lack of investment shows here and in the service at the restaurant etc.
Absolutely disgraceful customer service. This hotel must be avoided. Booked a Junior Suite, only to be given a standard twin. Then to be told this room was a Junior suite. Liar. The management team needs to review this standard of service. Simply unacceptable. Maybe something to do with the plush wedding at the hotel. Final straw was when the receptionist offered a standard room price. I'm a world traveller, and this is the No1 worst experience ever.
Beautiful grounds, peaceful , helpful staff. The room was lovely overlooking the golf course. The buffet breakfast was very good. The drinks were really reasonable for a hotel Would definitely recommend and return
We were visiting here to watch our football team Preston North End in a training match. We saw the training ground for the match and then went up to the restaurant for lunch. We ordered pizza and fries and omelettes. I ordered roast chicken salad which they forgot. They then brought me chicken and apple salad which looked like coleslaw and nothing like I expected. I sent it back and the Waitress said 30mins for roast chicken. It didn’t say that on the menu! I settled for bacon and onion pizza which was average. Wouldn’t eat here again The outside terrace is lovely in the sun though
We looked forward for a nice dinner in the lovely surroundings, but we’re extremely disappointed. The food was so bad that we started laughing. We had fried shrimp for a starter - we could barely eat it. The we had meat for main course- leather quality of the entrecôte and could not finish the meal. The side dishes were horrible as well. Additionally, the staff was totally off. 62 euro for 2 persons for this “food” ….. a total ripoff.
We ordered 4 times entrecote to 21€ each. The Meet was like leather. We have been there several times where, we always have been satisfied but not this time. I’m not sure the staff was awake, because they were busy doing other things, but not for the customers in the restaurant.
We had a lovely weekend. The rooms are very clean. The reception and dining area was tastefully designed. At breakfast we ordered omelette from the menu with coffee and orange juice. While we waited we were given a beautiful plate of fruit and croissants. It was delicious and unexpected for the price we paid. The hotel is very close to the beach less than 10 minutes drive and close to la zenia shopping area. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would recommend.
From the moment we arrived the staff have been disinterested to the point of feeling an inconvenience of being here. The restaurant is soulless with only the one female waitress being pleasant and helpful. The other waiters not so. We had to ask every time for a drink and they shut early( we are in Spain who eat and drink late!) today the room wasn’t cleaned on our return so asked and got gruff response though was done. when I asked where the pool was I was told ‘it is not available’ - “not available ?” I asked- apparently only open July and august- so why advertise that you have you a pool! Very fed up and will be moving hotels ASAP 😡
